Is the

"Analysis

This spell deals 65% damage to pay for the Burn."

already included in the listed base/random/stat damage for the encyclopedia article?

Yes. ~B

regarding the above answer. I believe that the listed base/random/stat damage on the entries does not reflect the 65% damage to pay for burn. Lord Barius' numbers have it rolled in but the entries do not. Perhaps this should be clarified with a disclaimer below the:
"This spell deals 65% damage to pay for the Burn", comment.

I suggest the following:

This spell deals 65% damage to pay for the Burn. NOTE the above listed b/r/s numbers do not have the burn penalty roled in.

Kamui showed the numbers, not Lord Barrius. If Kamui's numbers already factor in the 65%, there's no reason AVA won't use.

If you had seen the entry of RoBear Rampage Omega:

Analysis

This spell deals 65% damage of a regular spell with a Power Level of 140, in order to pay for the Burn.
The analysis is already there.

My bad about the Barius, Kamui mixup. It was the ponies. ;)

On closer inspection. Kamui's #'s do not have it roled in. I know the analysis is in the entries. That is not the problem, the problem is that it is not clear if said analysis has or has not been roled into the displayed BRS in the entries.

I bought the spell, ran the numbers and obviously the BRS have not had the penalty applied. I stick with my above recommendation of a disclaimer added to the analysis line.

My apologies if I missed anything I am trying to do this from my phone

The analysis section didn`t state whether the penalty for the burn was applied to the numbers or not. Apologies! I have updated the analysis section and also rolled the penalty into the actual numbers. ~B

Warganizer!

And is the healing effect cumulative with each successive hit?

Round 1 - hit enemy with spell
Round 2 - hit enemy with spell, enemy heals 24% of round 1 hit
Round 3 - hit enemy with sword, enemy heals 24% of round 1 hit & 24% of round 2 hit

??

it is 24% of i believe the total dmg dealt from the spell is restored to ur enemy's hp each round for 5 rounds, so not cummulative

im basing this off of the fact i used a low lvl vers, hit for 99, and he regained about 25 hp each round for 5 rounds

I suggest you roll in the multiplier yourself (as I believe it hasn't been rolled in, when I compare numbers to another spell), remove the multiplier in SPECIAL, and change SPECIAL to effect. You could also rewrite it, and add the fact that this heal is cumulative.
Oh, and you could probably use an extra break below le image.

@below: Nah, just multiply. 36 * 1.5 = 54.

@watashig: How do I do the multiplier part? For the first one, 36-109 is before 150%so would that be (36+1.5*36)-(109+1.5*109)=90-272 for damage ?
Got it. working on it now. Thanks!
edit: okay done.

the spell Earthrend (110) shouldn't be in the rare spells in the encyclopedia?

Hmmm im just gonna go ahead and say it :o Lately I've been getting a lot of Powerword Die's and noticed something different to what the entry says. Because of the opera, I've been fighting a lot of Drakel Swordmistress and i noticed that whenever my staff conjures PWD, "Death" hits 3.5k and then w/e is remaining of the hp (which is usually around 200). I've been trying to get screenshots but it happens kinda fast ;o so is this a bug thingy and powerword die does hits 5 hits of the mob's current hp as the pedia entry say? or does PWD hits 3.5k*5? im asking here cuz i've seen a lot knowledgeable people in here lately o.o and i dont know any mobe with more than 17.5k hp o-o so yeah :o
It would deal damage equal to monster's HP on the first hit, but it reaches the damage cap. ~Koree

^I think that if you're facing a pack of Drakel Swordmistresses, then it will kill each monster separately, so I would guess that 3500 HP is the average they have each whenever you fight them and haven't yet attacked it (basically, killing off the monster you haven't yet attacked, then the monster who's HP you have lowered)

@ Dusktar
Its only one, the Drakel swordmistress lvl 112 (no pedia entry as of yet, so link directs u to info sub.). The reason i get PWD at the beginning is that i always cripple her 1st so spells dont miss, and ofc i use my staff of awe anyways i now have another question, but this is not the place to ask it :P Thanks for ur concern tho<3 /gives a cookie

It would seem Legion (150) is resistant to Powerword Die so it's list of resistant monsters should probably be updated.

Had 2 Legion left with about 7XX HP and the went down to 4XX HP after all 5 hits of PWD, that would seem to tell me they are resistant.

edit: yep harm dmg
Added thanks. ~Aces
