Bunny Borg got +8 stats and +9 def/res =17
Count those numbers it's EQUAL

Hmmm... looks like something is seriously wrong with your math... Or you just dont know nothing about stat progression of epic duel. As you dont know stat points are buffying defence/resistance, so in short terms, one point in defence is worth 3 stat points in attributes of dexterity, or 2/3 attribute technology points in resistance... Better do your homework before trying to be so smart :/
So that math of yours is goin something like this... If you count one point in defence/resistance 3 attribute points
Founder armor got 16 points +10 enhance and +7 resistance(7*3=21) = 16+10+21= 47
Bunny got 16 points +8 enhance and 9 resistance(9*3=27) = 16+8+27= 51
So the math is 51 for bunny and 47 for founder, einstein -.-
