1000 varium will be a nice gift, even if i was hoping for something that i could 'show' (like a bike) or an upgrade to the armor.

I have to agree with the general populus that 15% is a little low...although the introduction of such an in game system is in itself a step in the right direction, so i think we should give it the benefit of the doubt and trial run it for a few weeks.

I have to agree with several posts that have been made in regards to the non variums. This is supposed to be player appreciation week not varium players appreciation week. I was expecting something that would show appreciation for all players, non variums will not be affected by either founder bonus or varium sellback...so im a little confused by this.

As a final thought, considering that you are factoring in varium paid enhancements in sellback, i'd like to make a request that you allow us to sell our higher level beta weapons. I no longer use them so would benefit from the varium gained on the enhancements at sellback (I'm assuming here that enhancement sellback will only be included with a sold weapon and not available seperately, so beta weapons being made sellable would be the only remedy for such a scenario).

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what we are given (free) for some people it will NEVER be enough.

It seems the concept of accepting a gift is foreign to us.

They say to us. "Have this free slice of cake."
Do we say "Thank you very much, nice of you to share your cake"
A few do.
But NO
there are always some that say
Mhm "GIVE ME all of the cake."

Also: Yay! 1000 varium! Totally better then a bike or whatever, seeing as I'm out of item slots....

 I think of this as a choice gift. I appreciate the thought. :)
I also wish to Thank everyone for their positive comments. We have a community that is very expressive and creative. For our game to improve our player base must increase. Many of us who have stayed from the early days to now, we know the potential this game has.

Do remember when Fame was implemented, there were many reasons for it being added beyond personal merit.

Think of fame feature as "Familiarity". Not to the us players, but to the people who have not been introduced to the game. Look at your character pages, and see how you can utilize it to the most exposure for the game. Be creative, and most important, share with joy.

If our community continues to expand, we will all have an opportunity to really see the features we want and in-game experience we desire.

My goals using social networks started during the Federation Elite meetings last year. I have slowly implemented the aspects of what I felt would be great to share our community with others. I have major plans in going beyond what you see now. I am quite excited, and it will be a motivating challenge for me to see if I am able to achieve the goals I have set.

If it really was player appreciation week, every player should have received the 1000 varium or even 3000 varium not the founders only :/.

I also like the idea of 90% sellback rate for 24 hours after buying the item.. it would be pretty nice, hopefully we'll see something along those lines in a future release

Am I the only one having troubles logging in?

Every time I pick a server, the game screen start's to load and freeze's.

The varium sell back is a nice addition to the game, and the 1000 varium is a thoughtful gift, thanks to the staff who made this possible.Though I found this release to be focused completed around varium players and I think non-var should have also been included, since it was supposed to be a player appreciation week and not a varium player appreciation week.

Congrats to JZaanu for finally being recognized for her always positive attitude and her time spent helping the community. :)
