first of all i am a mercenary and i have always been one, ihave over 7000 wins in 2vs2 with like 2000 loses and those losses come iether from players leavin, getting noob partner or

So you're one of those people who don't blame themselves for losing. Fair enough, I can now see why you argue mercs are not OPed.

What this discussion is about is bringing more TMs and BHs to blance out the mercs. Now, if there is need for this, then there must be a large number of mercs in 2v2.
Now answer this: Why are there so many mercs in 2v2, if they are not OPed according to you?

No I am or anyone else is not. If Mercs are NOT OPed then please explain why so many HIGH level VARUIM BEAST players have complained about a NON VARUIM STR Merc pwning them in 2 turns huh? Ok so this can go 2 ways. 1. You always blame your teamates for defeat. Or 2 you just admitted that you could've gotten 7000 or more wins without any loses and you said your a Merc(2 vs 2) and that isnt OPed to you? Please explain that to me.

@SageofPeace First of all dont you call me a loser. I have gotten over 2000 wins and fought over 3000 battles so I have enough experience to not be called a loser. 2. You didnt answer any of my questions or Light Strdr's. Therefore you have no answer because your wrong and resort to your last defense by flaming other users.

@Jacktaz Thanks for agreeing. But I dont want Mercs to be nerfed I dont want anyone to be nerfed. But I do agree the other classes need a chance to get on the leader boards(By buffs) and do really good in 2 vs 2 aswell. He obviously doesnt want that he just flames anyone who wants balance for all classes. Dut he doesnt,he wants mercs to stay to Oped and no one else to have a chance. I mean everyone cant be noobs if everyone all say Mercs are Oped in 2 vs 2 that is why you always see a Merc in 2 vs 2 on the leaderboards. The other classes need equal amount chance to rule 2 vs 2 aswell. Its unfair. He knows that he just doesnt care because he wants him and his other varium beast merc buddies to stay on top. Therefore no will care what he has to say if he keeps acting the way he does.

That is true, buffing is almost always better than nerfing players. Maybe that's what many players need.

And, for the team, block Sage, his last post was totally offtopic.

@Lightstdr Your right I am blocking sage sick of seeing his post. He is just flaming us. He just called us all ignorant,noobs and losers. And he keeps accusing me of flaming. He claims I flamed Mirv first he the one who said using robots is dishonorable basically he said I have no honor or respect. So that can be kinda like a insult. He claims we need to improve out grammar yet I still cant fully understand his post so I am done argueing with him.

Alright, I'm going to make a few basic points here.

1. Mercs are overpowered in 2v2, and consequently...

2. ... There are too many Mercs in 2v2.

3. While Bounty Hunters have the potential to be good at 2v2, they aren't showing it at the moment.

4. Mercs also have the potential to dominate 1v1

5. Tech Mages are in desperate need of an overall Buff, both in 1v1 and 2v2.

I think the whole "2v2 is unbalanced" problem can be fixed if the Level Scale System is fixed, and if Tech Mages are Buffed a bit (so that we'll be seeing more Tech Mages and slightly fewer Mercs in 2v2).

So how do we Buff Tech Mages without making them overpowered? As I mentioned in another Thread:

1. Get rid of the Staff requirements for Overload and Plasma Rain (the other Classes' Stun and Multi Skills don't require Class specific Weapons). The slam-your-Staff-into-the-ground animation should be removed, and replaced with an animation that works with Swords.

2. Assimilation's Staff requirement can easily be removed, without changing the animation. It's Energy Drain should also be unblockable (possibly at the cost of an extra Cooldown turn).

3. Plasma Bolt and Plasma Rain need to be buffed slightly (something along the lines of a small % of Resistance ignored, or a small bonus to Crit). I realize that these Skills can be overpowered if used with Technician and/or Malfunction, but that doesn't mean that Mercs should be able to do the same amount of Damage in one turn (and with less Energy).

4. Supercharge. Now that's a problem. A BIG problem. I think Supercharge's % of Resistance ignored should be replaced with something like a +25% chance to Crit. After all, the other Classes have Skills that add a bonus to Crit.

I completely agree with Lectrix!

Seriously why are the mages royally stiffed if they want to use a sword?

Also if you dont want to fix that, how about fixing the tree so I dont have to waste points to get to deadly aim!

I like being a mage as it requires skill and thought. And because it does as a mage I can see where the mages are seriously at a disadvantage!

Also 2 mercs in 2v2 with max artillery is just a bad joke. The Artillery is WAY overpowered vs ANY other multi!

Right you are, State Alchemist. Despite its many Nerfs, Artillery Strike still remains as one of the most powerful Skills in the game. Plasma Rain is pathetic when compared to Artillery Strike; the only way it can do the same amount of damage as Artillery Strike is if it's used with Technician and/or Malfunction. And we all know that's a waste of Energy and turn(s).

Like State Alchemist, I enjoy playing as a Tech Mage. It's a challenging, yet fun Class. But at a certain point, a challenge goes from being fun to being downright stressful. I think Tech Mages have now succeeded in crossing this line. Non-Varium Tech Mages serve as little more that a punching bag for players like 5 Focus Tech Mercs/Bounty Hunters.

Why should Tech Mages have so many useless Skills? Why should Tech Mages be unable to defeat their opponents as quickly as Mercs or Bounty Hunters? Why should Tech Mages have only one horrible Physical Staff? Why should any Tech Mage who wants a decent Physical Weapon be restricted to only HALF of their Skill Tree?

Anyone who says we mercs are OP is..... right. Im not going to twist my mind to believe that we aren't. For those mercs unlike me I have a tech mage alt and a hunter alt, my hunter is screwed u and i never really paid attention to who beat me. Now my mage gets pummeled by a merc 5 lvl lower than him hes in the mid 20's and is raising up for armor,staff,aux,sidearm which all rounds up to 50 but he still has pretty good equipment and a good build but he gets pummeled that's a sure sign that mercs are OP. But I also want to say that with the right build and a high lvl account u can win against merc anone can even a bh. I gotta say thou this Juggernaut really hurt the low lvls chance to lvl up. Here is an idea maybe for all weapons or just staffs how about we can chose either an energy/physical weapon. Like for example caden's wrath u could chose to make it nrg or physical when u buy it. Or u could do it for a small credit price of 5,000 or maybe a varium price of 100 not anything in the 500s and so on thou.
