After reading this weeks update I was actually excited but this happens way too much in this game. I can't believe that I actually feel for it. The saying "If it's too good to be true, than it probably isn't" this saying couldn't be more true in this situation. Just take a look at the Design notes, they don't even list the lv difference in the 2 vs 1 fights. I betcha it's going to be the same as 2 vs 2. A lv 32 player could face two lv 31 players or maybe 2 lv 1 charters, which is extremely bogus.

I Hate To Be Negative As Well...BUT...

I'm Very "Concerned" About The Same Problems That 2vs2 Has...Happening In The New Battle Mode.

On The 2 Side, What If Your Partner Leaves? You Are Screwed. More So Than 2vs2, Being Lower Level, Instant Loss.

At Level 33 For Example, One Match, You Face 2 Lvl 27 Non Variums. Easy. Next Match, You May Get 2 Full Varium Level 30-31.

I Understand Nothing Is Perfect, And We All Waited So Long For This.

I Myself Was Very Excited By This News At First...But With All The 2vs2 Problems, Never Fixed, Never Addressed, I'm Afraid We Will See More Of The Same.

BUT, It's LONG OVERDUE. Let's Hope It's Been Worth The Wait.

And There You Have The Opinions Of The "DOOM AND GLOOM" Duo Of The ED Forum. lol

a new battle mode is great :D now i wont have to force myself to press 1v1 just to get commander maybe it will be something new, if there are problems at 1st thats fine considering they havent done this before and hopefully they will fix what is needed

I was never too excited as others about 2v1 although I am interested to see how this might affect the fighting style's of all the players. I don't think level will be too much of a problem and I think when they say Challenge they are referring to the Higher level player who is alone. Some of my friends are assuming it will be a level matching system for example

I am level 32 (Alone)

VS

2 Level 16's

Although this sounds possible, it in no way would be a challenge thus it allowed me to assume the I (A level 32) will be fighting between 21-26's. This would create the allusion of a Challenge for both the Solo Side and Team Side. Personally I do not think they will pair a 31 with a 24 against a 33. It just doesn't sound logical.

I look forward to the update :)

All we need is Details about the feature. We shouldn't get our hopes up about the feature until it actually comes out.

Since this is pure speculation at this point, there is no purpose in making a separate thread. Once this update is out and you want a separate thread for discussing 2v1, be my guest. As for now, let's use the deign notes thread.
