Everyone are saying that mages have def matrix, BH energy shield but mercs have passive armor. With the time and def matrix and BH resistance will be gone.

Mercs got passive armor. Disscuss here.

It only lasts for a few turns, then its effect ceases, unless you use the skill again.

 Oh do you mean that, well I know that hybrid armor is great 12+ and the armor 8+ for the resistance! I know amazing!! I mean what would happen if Mage and Bh had this :O They are already really good without Hybrid.

Hybrid armor is our only good defensive skill and unless you have assualt bot with you it doesnt help much against smoke bhs. But its great against lower lvls.

it will make Merc are Underpowered.,
U should know each class have different Passive skill..,
It gonna be crap If BH with bloodlust+Shadowarts+hybrid.,
or mage with DeadlyAim+reroute+hybrid.,
U should think about that

 I was BH first then changed to MERC then back to BH because I got EMPed by Bhs and BH was the best class at hat time xD

@5rr5: See, it's not easy to be merc, you get smoked and emped and you cant't do anything about it.

I'm a Mage and I don't use deadly aim ,so that makes it 1 passive for me . But if I malfunction a Merc , he cannot shield up unless he's got an assault bot .Everything is balanced . Except for Hybrid at low levels . There really should be some sort of a level requirement for max hybrid . Lvl 7 Hybrid should require lvl 20 or something like that .

@Snaipera Heck no! You thinks its fair we need a LVL REQUIREMENT on our only defence and passive?! People really need to play as a merc before accusing our hybrid of being Oped.

@Snaipera, i like the idea mercs that are smart at low levels almost always get max hybrid as soon as they can (lvl9-10) and hybrid at those levels is like having a merc with 50 defence at lvl 33, the poor noobs cant hit more than 3, which is why a level requirment would suit it nicely.

@Isaiathemage, I started as a merc, i used max hyrbrid at low levels it was oped simple as that , the level requirement won't affect those past 20 so it's completely fair, I'm curious as to whether you've ever played as a merc from lvl 1-20 because then you would know not to make bold statements agianst other peoples knowledge of classes.

Ok so you think its fair for a Merc to have LVL limit on their only passive and defence yet the other classes dont? No its not fair at all. What about BH Bloodlust at lower levels? Or Mages reroute? Why do Mercs have to be the ones to suffer? They can boost their defences and resistence far higher with Energy Shield and Defence Matrix. Its not Oped at all. Its not fair whatsoever.

I am a LVL 31 Merc. My statement was made because I wanted it to.

i think its passive cause mercs dont have defense or resistance debuffs or buffs they just have intimidate and FC so they got passive buffs

Defense matrix and energy shield should last one more round so that we can buff our defenses again before a rage attack comes. I mean, the shields should go out on OUR turn, not on the enemy's turn.

I think it id along the lines of "OMG they haz debuff", so mercs hav-- oh yeah, intimidate.

If no one here has noticed (besides 8x :3), a level 1 defense matrix/energy shield gives you twice that of a maxed out hybrid armor if you have any amount of support.
@Light Stridr, Intimidate is nothing compared to defense debuffs.

@IsaiahtheMage Those 2 other skills aren't as powerful as hybrid armor at lower levels.
