Post up, N3. Apologies for the delay, life got a bit tangled for a couple of days. Grax is shooting at your chest, hoping to get a feel for how tough your outer shell is, and getting ready to defend himself.

Oh, the 18th. Phew. I was worried for a second, haha. Anyway, I'm going to try and have my next post up tomorrow.

The dropoffs are the battles we're fighting right now, Goldstein. The preliminary rounds before the finals. Spike, Cellar, Sky and Fountain are dropoff arenas, and the best for each element is picked from those battles and sent to the Finals Arena.

Apologies if I'm cutting across TD's questions, but I wouldn't mind asking one myself- any idea how the Masai Shroud be affected by Inaless' intense light / Salina's wind blasts / Henry's fireballs...?

(Flammable fog = badness...)

I dislocated my shoulder today. This is going to affect projected posting time. :/ Maybe tomorrow? We'll see.

First a power outage, now a shoulder injury. It seems somebody does not want you to be able to post. Who's your competition for Light? You may want to investigate their activities...

Zoinks... sorry to hear that TD, hope you feel better soon.

I may not be able to post tomorrow/Saturday myself, so I've put a 'filler' post up, set hundreds of miles from the EC. Feel free to ignore it- it has no immediate relevance to the battle going on, but just gives a bit more background on Salina.

Bleh. Things didn't pan out the way I thought they would today. Will post tomorrow morning, and I'll be on IRC as well.

I think that post from me works without inadvertant bunnying- essentially the only action in it is Salina immediately moving forward (in Inaless' general direction, behind her wave of mithril shards) and drawing her swords. I hope that's ok.

TD- at the end of the post, there's an indication of where/how Salina would begin to strike (based on where Inaless was standing, before she hunkered down) with her swords. I haven't represented this as having happened, because I was conscious that Inaless might counter-attack before Salina got her swings in. But feel free to use the info. if you want to weave Inaless' next movements around what Salina was intending to do.

Bleh. Noticed a typo in my latest post during my lunchbreak today. Should be "show her" not "sure her".

Kell, permission to edit and correct?

Go ahead.

My power's out again!

But I have a post for you now.

I went with what you'd posted for her intentions for the sword swings, Mirai, though since Inaless ended up on her tush, and those were set for her standing, they didn't make contact.

For everyone! First, the silver dome would cut the brightness in about half, so it would be so painful to look at her. Shortly after the change from white light to silver light, you'd get a complete CESSATION of that light, as the darkness Clyde threw at her engulfs her.

Given lack of input from Clyde (hope your nets get fixed soon, mate!) I'm saying that if you look HARD at the darkness, you might see a little glow in there. Also the dome should be keeping out any anti-light magic effects the darkness is causing. It will also stop physical attacks, but won't be sticking around very long.

Apologies Goldstein, I'm afraid a rather large spider web is winging its way to you.

I'm not quite sure what affect Salina's wind blast will have on the fog, seeing as Clyde's character has control over it herself. My suggestion would be that by sending out the gust, Salina will inadvertantly split off the bit of the fog she's in- revealing her own position to the other characters (except Inaless, who'll still be in the main bit of the fog). But happy to modify that if others disagree.

Mirai, how far does the web spread? Since Henry was using a ranged attack, would he still be in range? I estimate he's between thirty to forty feet away from Doc.

TDK- it spreads to 8 yards in diameter, roughly circular. I wouldn't have thought Henry would have anything to worry about from it.

Edit: Sorry, probably not critical, but I should have mentioned in my post that Salina sheathed her swords before pulling the net out.

I apologize for not getting my post up when I said I would. I'm afraid I've been very, very ill the last couple of days, and a high fever is not the best time to try and come up with a post. If I feel better this evening, I will try and get one out, but I cannot promise anything.
