Ironic that a 'large' supply isnt enough for a single fully enhanced weapon (let alone a full set of gear which even epic supply can't do unless you use promo gear), isn't it?

The names they give their packages are very misleading... I guess the staff has a diffrent concept of the word "large" than we do.

 I find it funny. 500 varium is 1k battleon points. 2k is 4k battleon points. At the rate your going you would think that 10k vvarium would be 20k points, but it is only 10k. Do prices get mixed up along the way somehow???

If $10.00 is 2k points, how is $50.00 worth 10k points???

 @Ch0sen One: It's called buying in bulk. They are rewarding you with more Varium for less points in the bigger packages.

hmm, the epic var pack wont get you fully fully enhanced items?

lets just say each item has 8 slots:
primary would cost 1,000 +1,200 for enhanced
gun and zooka would cost the same as the primary (7,000 total so var)
armors cost roughly 1300, +1,200 from the enhances. so, yeah, you'de be able to fully enhance items with an epic pack, and still have 500 to spare ^.^

I am so upset that nothing has been done to fix the cost of being a varium user in this game.

I have been playing another game which for $5 I can buy 6 individual packs. Each one of these packs gives you 7 items with the chance to get ultra rare pets, armor and the equivalent to our hoverbikes.

So for $5 I get 42 items. I have spent $15 and have already got 12 ultra rare items from them.

The fact that we are now expected to pay $50 in EpicDuel to obtain rare items is outrageous.

Someone really needs to talk with Artix as he is burning his ED varium members faster than he can say bingo.

seeing ED costs 50k per 10 k varium
I might aswell buy Xbox 360 games for less

The thing with varium in this game is not that you do not get enough, its that people for some reason feel the need to max out all their weapons with enhancements and always have the best gear, even if it is only a few stat points better.

If you just use the promo weapons you get from an epic pack, which there are almost promo weapons, then you should not have to worry about buying new weapons yet people feel the need to get the newest best est weapons.

As for enhancements, you can always use credits which are free, and i think the idea of enhancements is you only enhance the weapons that you plan on using pretty much forever.

All of this would make sense if it were not a game based primarily on PvP and each weapon they come out with is better than the last. When people buy upgrades for free games it is to make them more powerful than everyone else. The problem is is that as soon as you upgrade a few weeks later your promo items are not top notch anymore and since the game is PvP you feel the need to upgrade again.

One way to fix this would be if old items got buffs every now and then to compete with the new weapons.
