@Angels Going by your logic then people who spend 200$ on a game console then 50-300$ for games should never quit playing those games since they put too much money into said games. But the problem with this is that several hundred thousand people upgrade game consoles when a new one is released. And no pulling out "A console game will last you longer". ED is updating constantly. A console game only has so long before you do everything and nothing ever changes of it. That means if it sucks and is glitchy then you will be stuck with it unless a new version is released with fixes(which will cost you). With ED you get bug fixes, new content, and the option to spend nothing. But with console games you get none of that.

You can still leave. Like I said earlier, multitudes of people spend as much as you spend on ED on consoles and console games but they stop playing them and even spend 200$ more on new consoles.

Edit: To stay on topic. I've told a couple of my friends about ED but I don't know how many of them are still playing the game or not

Tell my Freinds that I spend 50 dollars on an online game, that not even for a gaming console...........Pfff, I will lose 90 percent of the respect the have to me xD.

@ND, Any console game will beat this game by far, games that cost 50 dollars, are new games that, people actually get pumped for; they go to the store and wait till the next day so they can get the copy of the game, Games such as Halo, Modern Warfare, EA sports blah blah blah, most of the time, those people buy those game once a year, in ED 50 dollars, is almost a once every 2 weeks requirement.

And also, PC break also, if you go inactive from this game, for more than a year or 2, you might not even remember the website, talkless of your username and password. But, i just found my CD for Halo that went missing like 2 and half years ago, since we moved.

@ND
That's what patches and DLC are for. Fix glitches and add more content to the game.

@ bobbyhonkers

Titan and Nightwraith don't care who or what likes their game. Their job is to generate profit for Artix Entertainment. You make it sound as if they have compassion or care for people, what a joke. We're nothing more than disposable trash to them, play things, toys, experiments, to be more precise. Oh well.

This is quite contradictory since without internet your unable to play ED, but with most console games you don't require internet access to play them. Your also making a pretty "bold" assumption.

Ugh, There was a hole thing I am coming to terms with from my seventh grade year I now like to the call "The Adventure Quest Worlds Debacle" but that's for another thread, although once I saw a friend playing EpicDuel at school that got totally addicted to it and I was like "oh cool you play that too!?" But he played it in class and people made fun of him and when I defended him I was also made fun of, I just let it slide and played with him sometimes but my friend is kind of an "Open Gamer" he likes to advertise he spends a huge amount of time on video games, but I like to try to keep it to myself, especially with my AE games, and he just kept talking about it and talking about it and it made me and my friends (Which don't even hardly ever play video games) look bad in association, whenever we talked and the teacher told us to quiet down some people would say "There just talking about video games as usual" which wasn't usually even true. So we eventually had a "gamervention" with him and he started to quite down, although I was exposed as a player of online flash games and my rep was scarred forever, as I look back it was actually kind of funny, but I'm afraid it may be used as blackmail someday when i run for president.

Is this what blogging feels like?

Remember The Name

I've told many of my friends about my online activity including the games I play. It doesn't really bother me. My circle of friends is mature enough to understand that different people have differing interests/hobbies. They regard it as no different then playing COD.

Try to stay on topic guys. Critiquing individual players motives isn't the subject at hand and is in many cases trolling.

I have been a gamer for over 20 years now,and as such many of my friends are close to that world.
Though we have different interests in game types,we all like to share whats new in our gaming world.
So yes,I tell them that I play ED.

Beep Beep! ArchKnight AQ / ED

Nearly all my friends know i play it, all my family knows as i randomly spurt out something about ED to parents who try to make me think they know what i'm on about

The main reason i tell them i play it, is because i enjoy it. So if i enjoy something why not not share it?
