Epicduel --- bad for computer?

 Every time I play Epicduel, my computer overheats, then occasionally crashes. Do you think it has something to do with the game?

If so, how do you think the devs could fix this? I'm sure others also have this problem. Its definitely bad for the computer, and I'm feeling frustrated.

I suggest buying a special fan for your Laptop/CPU it will help alot.

gaming with your pc/laptop is bad, especially when the pc/laptop is not designed for it.

 Maybe you're just playing ED so long, it overheats naturally. I doubt this, but it is possible...I think.

Yo son I use a Note book and its VERY fast for a speed of 1.6 Duo Like my last post said, Use a special fan, meaning not to bring cool to the CPU but to take the heat out ;P

@Yo son: I used a laptop and it works perfectly fine with epicduel. but when I'm playing AQW at the same time it slows down

2 years old is nowhere near quite new. For a laptop thats very much outdated.

Thats sad my lap top is 4 years old and its running very well. With Internet Explorer 9

 Yea, my computer is pretty old. Windows XP. About 7 years

But I have a graphics card. Nvidia Zotec

And it can run EpicDuel smoothly. My computer NEVER overheats

My pc might be old (2 years) but it was best on the market at that time and i built it myself but back to the topic on hand: what backround tasks are you running as i have never heard of a PC overheating when using the internet... unless your just a hot-headed player

 ^I have a HP Pavilion dv5 running Vista, I use Chrome, no background tasks (I never ever do anything while ED). I normally switch computers every 3-4 years.

I probabaly do need a fan...

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll get a MacBook next time...HP computers just LOVE messing with me.
