So we now have 2v1 boss battles where we can link with a person on our buddy list. Can someone tell me why we can't link up with someone and 2v2? It literally boggles my mind... I mean... it can't be that hard to program. What do you think?

 I Don't Think it Exists Cause What about Low Levels? Who cant Speak our language,Have no freinds? They would be destroyed.

then what would the lvl range be certainly not the basic 5 lvls within range

The devs decided that it would be a great idea for us to partner up with non variums, and bad players just for the lolz. They use the excuse that non variums would leave the game.

They can still play with 4 random ppl. For instance, if two people are linked, they can only vs other two people who are linked. Its not that hard to implement, and I can't think of a reason not to.

I like the feature, but not if its added to the current 2v2 system.

If it was like the challenge system it would work. 2 teams would link together and challenge each other.
would be able to do tournaments and stuff. only issue I see is people using it to farm unused alts or friends.

just remove the extra section from the address bar. link does go directly to twitter.com tho lol

 Its supposed to go directly to a Tweet from Titan saying you will not be able to link with a friend from your buddy list for 2vs2. Only for 2vs1 Boss Battles.

thats what happens when u max a twitter link.
if u showed the whole link then i would be able to copy and paste it on the address bar. then it would work.

Well,it works perfectly for me. And yeah, it would mess up the 2v2 concept, seeing as it would...irritate the non-variums.

 @Jehannum Know how to fix that? Either disable the security pop-up AEF gives you when you leave a website not AE affiliated or you can copy and paste the link I gave you and put it in your address bar.

ur just type the actual link instead of putting a name to mask the link.
and if u disable ur security pop up and someone leaves u to one of those pom sites where u cant exit it or do anything with ur computer and cant be fixxed unless u pull the plug, im sure u would keep the pop up on then.

well like I said further up the topic, the actual link is still in the address bar. i just delete the artix extras, so yeah im safe and smart :)

What if when you link with a buddy it just increased the chance of getting with them in a battle? So if you friend was a level 25 and a battle is being prepared and lets say your buddy and another level 25 click 2v2 then the system would choose your buddy you linked with?

It wasn't implemented because it would make it too easy to dominate the 2v2 board. If your faction was all level 33s you'd be able to link your faction together and gain double the wins for every battle that you 2 would dominate. Now, try and explain how this wouldn't wreck the current 2v2 system. xD

 Link feature should definitely stay away from team battles and they could make a new battle mode with the old name 2v2 where this could be implemented.
