Cinderella
Always a Princess

Liz- I apologize personally for your EpicDuel experience not living up to your standards. While I try to punish those who break the rules (swear at you, scam you, etc.) I cannot be everywhere at once to prevent it, and for that I apologize sincerely. I do understand the need to get away from the immaturity of students during the summer (my mom is an elementary school teacher). As a teacher, I'm sure you can sympathize with my situation- some children do not improve their behavior no matter how many times they are punished, and even when I issue chat locks and bans, they can always make a new character. And until I find them, there's little I can do about it. I apologize from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has ever been trash talked, sworn at, scammed, or insulted in-game. I truly wish I could do more to prevent all of this from happening. It was Jean-Paul Sarte who said "hell is other people". If your relationship with another person is poison- through their actions or your own- having to interact with them will be hell. Correlated to that is the theory presented by Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade (famous webcomic, but definitely 13+): that a normal person, presented with anonymity and an audience, will degrade into the most foul behavior known to man- essentially poisoning the waters of our game. These people WANT to make everybody else quit, and ruin the experience for everybody else. Not because they hate the game, or hate you, or anything like that. But because they want to destroy for the sake of destruction. And it pains me whenever a reasonable, mature, person leaves the game because that's one less bright spot in my life.
