I just thought of a fantastic new idea( In my opinion ) that I think would benifit the whole community, so I am here to get all of your opinions.

I think it would be good to add a new feature called "Messaging." It would basically be a system that you would be able to send a message to people that you know, without them having to be online.

To explain further, you would only be able to send a message to people on your buddy list, to prevent people from getting spammed by people that they do not know. It would work by the person sending it, picking the person they want to send it to, typing in the message, and then when that person comes back online again, the message pops up on their screen automatically.

I believe that this system could work out very well for factions, because the leader could have the option to send a message out to all of his/her members, telling them when they are going for the leaderboard, To do 2v2 or 1v1, When to put tokens into flags, or whatever.

This system could also work well if you and a friend never seem to be online at the same time, and you could easily decide a date or time to meet up.

What do you think?

I've suggested this idea to AQW but with a little more concept. My suggestion was having a mailbox to everyone's houses where you can do what is it that you suggested. However, months passed and this idea was never implemented in game.

Fantastic idea but it will need some requirements or such because if someone wants to have it blcoked, there has to be an option if you know what I meant?

Yes, thats basiaclly what I was trying to get at, Just a way that you can arrange things with people, and they don't have to be online at the moment. But what about the people who can't but houses because of the varium? The free players?

@Cyber

That would be a good Idea, to be able to block someone if they are spamming you with it. But then if they were doing that, why would they be on your buddy list?

Like I stated above, my suggestion was for AQW not in ED. Maybe an item to put in our inventory will work? Say...a cellphone maybe?

A cellphone could work, but would it just be easier if we had, some sort of mailbox on the bottom bar where all the options are? That would be more convenient and easier to manage.

It's a nice idea to have an offline messaging system to your friends. Not every friend on your list is (probably) going to be in your faction so, you can't drop them all messages on your faction board. And, that might be a feature you don't constantly visit anyway. Using facebook as an example you can now use the chat feature to send messages to friends offline so, in principle perhaps something like this could be applied? Click a friend from you list send a chat that they pick up next time on. A nice way to arrange meetings.
