If (most of) the communitywill continue caring only for their wins, the epic duel population will keep decreasing until it will die.

Helping finding ways to attract new players and encourage new ones to play should be a concern for everyone that really loves Epic Duel.

Why?

Imagine someone joining Epic Duel. He creates a character, joins a couple of fights and discovers that almost everyone is aggresive and speaks bad words. Or tells him to close the browser, give them a free win and so on.

Then, new players struggle for credits. They can never afford a full set of equipment for their level, enhancements or too many retrains. No class changes too. Factions are crap and unattractive at low levels.

Why would a new player keep playing, under these circumstances? Hard to say. Most of them quit; some of them buy varium (OOPS NO MORE LOW LEVEL DELTA WEPS !!), and some continue as non varium. Till when? About lv28, when they repeatedly meet furious fully-equipped varium lv33s in battle. This is when almost all non-variums quit.

What are your ideas to overcome these facts and make the game enjoyable at all levels? Please keep civil and refrain from making worthless comments.

well i say that the credits should be multiplied by 5 for wins only and honestly if AE actualy cared about ED ilke they said they did during the merger then they should dish out some money for advertising on television or something even if its more intense internet ads for ed and

then i insist that the forums need a special ed feel to them like im 18 and im afraid of being moderated for putting so many spaces and stuff like its crazy ed need more freedom in forms of expression epic duels game style appeals to an older crown than that of aqworlds and i think

that fact needs to be addressed i am an old player from way back im always a varium buyer and i also have a f2p account so i can speak from experiacnce when i say that there needs to be more chances for risk without ruining an account and at the lower levels one misplaced

stat point can turn your whole account into a flop so i belive there should be something that shows lower lvls how to make a build like in aqworlds how there is a tutorial spot we should have one like that and after making it throough there you are lvl 5 of course you could be

free to skip it for experiacned players but i feel for new comers this would set them into the game more concrete like

Well, i think people wanting wins should never change, as EpicDuel should be all about that as it is a PvP game. However, the put downs and bad language i agree should stop. My best idea for this is to just set an example for the new players and hope enough people ignore these bad words that it stops.
