There's been a lot of fat and bulky armours implemented into Epicduel recently. I am, as you know, referring to the uni-gender armours such as Bunny Borg, Space Warrior, Tesla Armor and a few others. I know that they were supposed to please the non-founders who wished to change class, but they really went over the top. Now everyone just looks like a merc...we have the same builds (either focus, stat abuse or the occasional 'creative' build).

We buy varium so that we can purchase good looking items with the best stat modifiers. I do not want to be a mage who looks like a fat merc. I'm not fat in real life, and I don't want to be fat in game. I didn't choose the mercenary class because they were fat and I chose mage because I chose mage as my starter class in AQW as well. The tesla armour was released recently, as a limited rare (oh no). They decided to make a female version so that the females weren't all like males now. Well, that's a step in the right direction; males look different to females. Males are fatsos while females are beautiful and elegant. I honestly which that I'd chosen the female gender for my character because I HATE looking like a fat merc.

I wish that Nightwraith could reduce the bulkiness of the Male Tesla Armour, and make it look slightly different for each class just so that we can differentiate between each class. We paid real money for the armor, so he should really spend a day just to fix it :(.

Discuss what you think of the uni-gender armours in Epicduel right now. Do you like them+why? Do you dislike them+why? Would you like to the tesla armor redesigned :O? Do you agree that we should be paying for good-looking items?

To be a honest, a bulky person looks much more intimidating than a lanky one. Plus, this isn't a dress-up game, as long as the armor isn't too distracting--like the Banana one--then it shouldn't be a significant issue. As for the unigender armors, I prefer them because they allow for 500 quantity shops rather than 250. Since males seem to be purchasing armors faster, having only 250 armors available for each gender and p/e type seriously disadvantages males.

@endtime: I meant that the armours should still have no requirement although the way they look should change slightly depending on your class. They could code it similarly to how they coded the class-changing founder armour and beta weapons.

Ya,what happen with armors that make you look smexy?
...I get traumatized by pll who observe that my armor is to fat or i have big legs and small head...I want to look pretty... ..but what am I talking here,is not a beauty contest after all...

Yeah Its too big and causes lag, you guys should all look like Male Seraph armors.

In my oppinion, many people in the game have been spoiled to think that armors with good dex and tech imporvments should be skinny due to founder armor, when in fact it is these recent armors that really have it down, speciffically the telsa armors. If an armor gives you either good dex or tech mainly before enhancements, in order to provide that extra bit of protection, it really only makes sense that it should be bulky in order to provide that protection. So, quite frankly, the large and bulky (they are not fat) armors really only make sense, especially now with increased lvl caps which lead to the average ammount of damage to increase as well.

I like them. Because i dont want to be skinny i want to be fat and bulky like the hulk!

From a visual standpoint, it makes no sense. Does this: http://epicduel.artix.com/charpage.asp?id=Giras look like it has 111 Dexterity? Cause it does, but it looks almost immoble. This shouldn't be a game of humongous scraps of metal bashing eachother. Now THIS: http://epicduel.artix.com/charpage.asp?id=Ood is an armor! Founders armor, and designs like it (Desert Ronin, Cadens Cuirasse, etc.), are far better. You know where you looked like a HUMAN BEING, and the artwork was ELEGANT instead of ATROCIOUSLY over the top! Can anyone honestly, to my face, tell me that Male Telsa Armor looks BETTER than Founders armor? Seriously, why hasn't Nightwraiths artwork been IMPROVING? Telsa looks like the ideas for five different armors smashed together into one humongous unrecognizable atrocious heap of scrap metal! How about releasing more armors that are less overdecorated?

Constructive!


 With the design of these recent armors. As many remember, these were to be designed as exterior robotic suits. They are the mini version of the Lowe npc. From time to time they are fine, but to keep our individual appeal, I would prefer more class and gender specific armors.

Yes, this is very well a "dress up" game. If it wasn't we would have no character customization, no different looking armors, etc. I for one would enjoy looking good, not some fat person who cant see in front of him/her.

I agree :l I don't like how fat Tesla is. Space warrior is fine, but tesla is a tank.
I'd like something like Desert ronin for Mercenary.
Although, I really like bunny borg. i'm infuriated that I missed it, I was having family issues and wasn't able to access the internet for a while.
It's the perfect size, height, and look. I really like it, and I really hope it returns.

So, we need thinner armors. That'd be pretty sweet

Seems like a troll thread to me. Don't like it, don't buy it. I don't understand why you guys care so much? So you look big in it, big deal. I doubt all armors from this point on will be massive, so just wait it out.

Did you sow the bunny armor feet Nicolas?...she has a tail too ...but at least is the best armor for now,I love the stats.

Here is the deal, im cute in real life, i dont wanna be a giant fat ugly robot in a game with genders .....so pls ...some skiny armors!!!!

 well if you want it reduced the cut the zize in half and the modifiers and the all the stuff JK!!!! (it is a good ides) BUt really it looks like they cant move. Due to the big body it looks like i am fighting a buy with no arms and two hands sticking out.

Giras is right. I remember when I was young and founder armor promos were out and my friends and I in real life were so excited because they looked awesome. Each class own look. Mercenary was a bit bigger but it was a good looking big! Founder for bh was amazing. Perfect. Mages looked like mages! Skinnier cuz they dont use str but use magic. Also females had their armors too.

Impulse armor. Amazing.
Caden armor. Amazing
Necro armor. Amazing.
Then it started getting bad.
Warbot.
Banana.
Bunny
Space war.
Fatter and fatter and getting unisexual.

Back in day, lag wasnt bad.

But nOw with the big armors, huge bikes, huge zookas, etc. There is sooo much lag.
Sigh.
Now when I play Ed my friends point at my fat ugly armors and say

" what is that"
"horrible graphics"
"repetitive"
"nothing to do"
"boring"
" why do u play this game?"
Trust me I always defended Ed.
