Has anyone tried Juggernaut with TM? I came in 2nd and by the end of the day 3rd with 153 wins to 81.4% I call Mages a success that time. Especially since it was my first Varium Tech mage build. =D However, the point here is do you think mages are good as well as Tactical Mercenaries? I mean I always see on juggernaut leaders the top 3 is all TLM. I was probably the only mage in the last 3 days that was top 3. But really what do you think of Mages when it comes to Juggernaut? What kind of build do you think TLM's have to be successful in Jugg. that mages don't?

I hope you understand. Thanks for reading, please discuss.

Mages can be decent juggernauts hopefully they are tanks with high defense and resistance meaning they would have high dexterity and technology. Then because of the high dexterity and technology they can cast plasma bolt, overload, plasma rain, and super charge very effectively. For those mentioned skills you wouldn't need to raise their levels. However, would be recommended you give points to reroute, malfunction, and medic which allows effective energy and health control. The value of health wouldnt matter so much but more than 80 is good. I would also point out that juggernauts face people weaker than themselves so tanking dexterity and technology would reduce the incoming damage to 3 hopefully.

For tactical mercenaries there is many builds one of them being support with artillery and field medic and reroute.

Yes, I've been trying juggernaut as a tech mage and I'm doing quite well. The main advantage that tac mercs have is hybrid armor; it allows them to have good resistance and defence. This makes them almost impossible to kill and they can still do good damage using their skills or using one of their weapons. Having reroute means that they can heal multiple times if needed, or they can use skills such as poison or smokescreen more than once. I've got 45 wins today in juggernaut as a tech mage with a 97.8% ratio, so in my opinion strategy can make a great difference. Tactical mercenaries have an ideal skill tree but with a good build and a good battle plan, a tech mage can be successful in juggernaut.

i havent gotten to it but alot of Jugg victim are under equip F2P's so a caster mage would do just find whiping teh floor with them as the specialty of a caster build is quickly removing low levels

Then there would be poor people getting killed by some plasma rain or plasma bolt.

@kwj3

What do you mean? You're getting killed by the attack or you're killing them with the attack?

As a TM, I got a 95% win ratio but I changed into blood mage and I can still maintain that record provided that 2 varium users wont be my opponents.

As a mainly 1v1 TM I've never been a big fan of the Juggernaut mode but when i got most of my wins in this mode it was with a high support and dexterity build. Yes they can be very good at being Juggernauts it's just that we actually do have to be tactical in order to get high %'s.

Idk about Tech Mage but i'm a Blood Mage and do beyond good in in Juggernaut. The builds that seem to work the best for me is Tank/Plasma Rain and Strength Builds. The Strength build is faster but the odds of me losing are a bit higher aswell, the Tank build seems to have a very good chance of winning against any odds.

Well, a caster build with an energy armor, high dex/tech, and defense matrix, and caster has: plasma bolt, overload, plasma rain, and that should leave the last guy with some 30 health. I used to do juggernaut (retired) as a tactical, and it's much easier, but whatever.

I've said this millions of times. You want to nerf tactical back to the same level as the rest of us? hybrid armor. It's their way of winning. And whoever disagrees is either tactical, or has never played as tactical, because I can tell you, nerfing a mercenary to 0 dex, they STILL GET 13 FREE DEFENSE. Their advantage isn't an ideal skill tree, or huge attacks, it's free defense. They don't focus on dex as hard, and they have more stat points for the rest of their gear.
