i like ED but im saying 90% of Ae players like aqw more than ED

the fact that I can't hit 5000 damage with the worst weapon in the game.
I, who have played aqw since the last day of beta, can tell you:
ED is better (for me) because of the following:

1: you need strategy to win.
2: your gear actually makes a difference
3: the "farming" (credits) is not really tiring.
4: There's much more flexibility in who you want to be
5: You actually play an important role in the game. Say I have 100 000 wins, and I donate it all to a flag. Then our faction wins the flag. [insert alignment] may win because of me. My faction may take world domination. The possibilities are...not endless, but vast(er).
6: There's no story you have to pay attention to
7: not EVERYTHING is down to playing money. Sure, buying varium helps. But I've been beaten by non variums before.
8: FACTIONS.
9: More than one weapon
10:wide range of styles and fighting techniques available. N(not only in classes, in general)

There's more, but meh.

I completely agree with nico0las and more. AQW I find extremely boring but its just not my kind of game anymore, and EpicDuel is pretty much exactly what I look for in a game, maybe a higher level cap but that will change of course(Which would then require a lot more strategy which I love, but I dont see the levels getting any higher than 34/35+ because of the 10k varium package items would be not as useful any higher). I am a very mathematical person and having the time to look at your opponents stats/skills predicting their next moves and how high u will hit and 'vice versa'.

Now I think we should add some things we think would improve the enjoyment of EpicDuel and suggest them. I like achievements, and what I am REALLY looking forward to is whats said to happen in the future on the EpicDuelWiki.

@greenrain13, maybe it is time that u should get more support or dex and stop complaining about crits and blocks.

No doubt there...

AQW is way more frinedly for non-paying players, has a very funny storyline and is extremly well made.

- The only thing i don't like, is that you have to team up to beat the bosses..

It seems so weird but I prefer AQW over ED because of... PvP!

AQW PvP need more strategy and technique (ED require Strategy but not technique) to win. It's in real time.
But the most important about AQW PvP that money won't effect game play, better players win, even with worst class in game

I like ED more then the other AE games, ( Even if AQ was my first AE game )

It takes more Strategy to win on ED then in AQW. Heck I got 1 hit K.O... and my HP was 2k+ >_>

And I really get why ED is Greedy, the LARGE pack gives 10k Var while AQW gives 12k ACs BUT! Everything cost 2K ACs in Valestra, why here the best equipment is Just less than 1k Var >_>

And in AQW Gear dont Matter, I srsly fight in a Underwear >_> and I pwn crazy. But it takes no real skill to be honest XS

Besides, AQW is done with all there testing, ED still in testing :)

AQW definatly wins. I mean it clearly has far more players because it is far more fun. I mean AQW has:
A ACTUAL STORYLINE something ED doesnt have yet.
More quest
More NPCs
More shops
More classes
More bosses
More weapons,armors,helms and capes.
The game also actual has its OWN sound and music and nice sound effects.
I mean it is clear AQW wins. AQW on a daily basis has 10,000 players on the weekends it has nearly 20,000 players or more. ED barely reaches 2,000 players whether it is the weekdays or the weekend.
@penyihiR I hope that is a joke.

But I was under the impression that AQ is for really young players? Does it have a 10 or not? (age I mean)

So it had to be Ed for me. (Although not sure what the starting age limit is foe here?:)

also here's what i thing the best AE games are
Df > AQW
Aq > (all AE games)
Mq < ED
HS = AQW
Arch knights > Blade heaven (<.< i think its called)

I bought a 1 year membership for Aqw like two yrs ago and after like 3 months I quit. Got to like lvl 8 and decided it was too hard to lvl up and it was boring (not that hard when I think about it but still...)
Ed>Aqw cuz Ed requires thought as to eye finger codornation (clicking) in Aqw.
Also in Ed gear actually matters and you can basically rly customize ur character like with ur own build and own colors and gear etc.

 ED pvp is kinda better than AQW pvp.
Reason why is?
At the end of AQW Pvp here's what happens some time's (here's a play since i cant explain it)

Joe: you slide

Kim: so

Joe: sliding=noob=cheating

Kim: So who cares?

Joe: Sliding is an abuse of a bug!

Kim: So?

Joe: so ill report you for abusing a bug :P!

Kim: Kay report me just because you lost :P!

And at the end of ED pvp here's what happens i think?

Joe: nice fight!

Kim: yeah same here bro.

Joe: yeah next time when we pvp ill have my skill raised up higher.

Kim: yeah next well cya.

Joe: Cya.

So i have to say ED is better cause in aqw you have sliders/ cheaters.
in ED everyone has a chance to attack, heal, think, and not spam.

MQ to ED? I thought I was the only one that thought of that. =/

EDIT: I like your play Chris.

I like how weapons actually give you stats, and you can see them with your own eyes as they increase a point of a certain skill, or damage. Unlike AQW.

@Fay Well since ED has joined with AE it should have a E10+ rating aswell. As it cant be above that rating since it is merged with AE. Well that is what I heard at least.

i like that on ED you actually have to play to win, there are no boring repetitive quests, and there's no storyline you just HAVE to follow.
There's no max players/screen, weapons actually matter, and you get a decent advantage (typod) for playiing and paying more.
there are faction, bag space is CHEAP, there are daily achievements, you can get var stuff nd loads of credits hrough the arcade, here are 3 payment options, there's Power Hour,
we have a better closer community, really, i could keep going and going and goin ang going and ..

First of all i didnt play aqw much so i can be wrong (G)=Good , (B)=Bad

ED:

  • Higher age players(G)
  • Requires more strategy than AQW(G)
  • Items have different purposes not just look(G)
  • Less developers(B)
  • weak storyline(B)
  • At max lvl always same thing (B)
  • updating in 2-3 weeks(G/B)
  • Nothing has a real purpose(B)
  • Too much luck factor(B)
  • No lvl advantage(B)


AQW if i know right:

  • Lower aged players (B)
  • Items look awesome(G)
  • Items are just for look(B)
  • Game is just about Quests and Exp Farming(B)
  • Game is for low aged ppl(B)


AQW is like 2D Flash version of real 3D RPG games(ex:WOW , Cabal) so its better to play 3D game instead of AQW , but there is not a game like 3D epic duel , maybe something like online Tekken with lvl and skills :P

AQW? Even my 3 year old sister could play that game you spam skills anyone can do that
ED takes more thinking they say ED is greedy its not AQW is just becoming boring Many people have lives and cant get 500k or 1m EXP to level up to 1 level

@TurkishIncubuos Just because a game is for lower aged players why is that bad? You should expect kids to play games not all these adults in ED who pay hundreds of money on this game.
