I also think we have two different words that are getting confused. I happen to think that anonymity and privacy are different. Anonymity gives you a chance to 'act out' in a fantasy game. It is entirely up to you if you choose to 'abuse' this privilege and be nasty. Although I would hope that your genuine nature would show through. Privacy to me, means exactly that, keeping my real life persona private. Short explaination (I could have put much more) Privacy, as the term is generally understood in the West, is not a universal concept and remained virtually unknown in some cultures until recent times. Most cultures, however, recognize certain forms of hidden or personal information that is not shared with wider society. Anonymity is derived from the Greek word ἀνωνυμία, anonymia, meaning "without a name" or "namelessness". In colloquial use, anonymity typically refers to the state of an individual's personal identity, or personally identifiable information, being publicly unknown. Not sure if I have got across what I am trying to say. Hope so. No offence meant here.
