 I personally do not mind. And Gender Changing is possible.

And if you think it's a problem, it's probably the result of some self-inflicted phobia that it'll create awkwardness.

I think that if they ever implemented this, we should all change genders to the one opposite of our real life gender just for the lulz.

I accept the fact that people want to change genders but why? If you can't accept who you are or what your sexual preferences are can you still be that sane? Abusing it for jokes (aside from the one above that I stated) would be chaotic.

Heck yes I want gender change, i hate looking phat with my tesla armor T_T

exbeon is a boy with a girl character, and there is nothing wierd about that.

maybe 500 varium, since no one would really do it.

No achievement either

If gender change is added you can completely change yourself making it near impossible for anyone to find you even your buddies in game

@OWA: it doesnt make any sense. you change your name and appearance and hey presto, exactly the same problem.
some players are using items not available very often or at all and usually you can recognise them, otherwise it could be anybody right?

Personally I think he made that comment when adding new features to the game was almost impossible, now that he is recoding
the game engine allowing new features to be added far easier its possible he might have a different view on it. I could be wrong tho

 There is only one recorded Gender Change to my knowledge but that was becuase of some issues with other players toward a female and that was a long time ago.


Also with Name change yes it is hard it figure it out but some players has signiture color schemes you can use to pick them out, Rabies old all pink armor, Class Change not so much. Gender Change is just teh icing on the name change cake becuase change your name and gender old you might as well have entered witness protection

And remember you can be identified by buddy list and on the faction (even better if you are a faction founder). Also if you make your own space in the forums.

Agreed. We need gender change. I want to change to girl character cause like Night Angel said, it's always the girls that have the best looking armors. And my tesla I never wear it cause it looks like the nebula Blew up and created crap. However there should be a feature where if you said you were female in the portal it would automatically turn you to a girl. (With confirmation of price ofcourse)

Good idea for a feature.

Actually with Cheevo so everyone would know you changed gender. It should be like a one time only gender change too.

If you change your gender in Real Life you won't get anything In Game Real life to game has nothing in common.

AQW only recently added a gender change feature.
Honestly? I'm a guy. I chose a guy as my character. I am impartial to what happens.
It would be a great feature for anyone who chose the "wrong" gender, and this could benefit them.
Honestly though, I would much rather see... bag slots or name changes for credits over gender changes.

This would become redundant fast. It is also pointless in some ways such as why should a boy have the option to gender swap and vise versa and if a boy wants to switch his girl avatar into a boy he shouldn't have picked a girl to start off with. Not to mention if a senario such as "hey do you want my account because I'm quiting" but the person offering is a girl while the reciever is a boy this would be the only real use for such a feature and account sharing/giving away is against the rules anyways. All this been said I don't support.

 I've got a female character although I'm male 'in reality' This stems from a love for playing adventure games (fallout being an example) and not wanting to watch a male backside running for hours through the wastes of a post apocalypse searching for stuff.

Essentially, it doesn't matter if your Male, Female or a small fluorescent bouncing ball. Were all just pixels rendered from a server in California. It's an online 'fantasy' game after all.

As to whether they will introduce gender change as an option? Possibly, at some point. I doubt its high up on their list of priorities right now. Incidentally, the feature in question took some years to appear on AQW so, expect the same here.


I forgot to mention this in my previous post. When I may have in passing or in conversation mentioned that I'm a guy I've had players question my sexuality. I've always found this amusing as the two things aren't related anyway (sexuality and gender) I've attributed this either to naivety or immaturity.

@Voidance: if players wanna spend their varium on gender change, where is the harm ?

@Liz Vicious: I love orc females from world of warcraft, they bellydance and have a muscley midrift.
sometimes I would level with no chest armour, just so I could see that midrift hehe.

They did say that they Might be adding Gender change to epicduel But it be Very Costy

so people do Over use them like name changes

I think It will be nice if The Devs Make Gender Change+Name Change Feature..,But Limited Only
(Example : U only can Change ur name 3 times only.. n no more name changing after that)

Never actually played World Of Warcraft although, I did watch a documentary about people giving up their jobs to play it constantly......Addiction does come in many forms after all.

I hope gender changing coming soon to Epic Duel. Evey rare thing for males quickly finish,unlike females.
