As we all know (or, at least, those of us who know of the game at all), WarpForce needs help in terms of players. I've been trying to help by using signatures that are also WarpForce ads. (See below.) Is it permitted to create a thread in the WarpForce Discussion forum for the creation and sharing of such signatures to promote the game in the forums?

(We all know it needs all the help it can get-- if we were to take all of the currently on-line forumites and put them on WarpForce, the player count would triple.)

As far as I know, advertising for other AE games isn't rule breaking but it would be best to ask a mod in charge of the Warpforce section if you could make a thread for sharing siggy ads. You might have to end up posting them in the Art section though or wherever sig art is posted.

Anyhow I think it isn't but you should check w/ a mod.

@archmagus...i was actually thinking of doing this but im no artist and i dont have a witty sales pitch...yet

anywho i do not think its against the rules as it is just a game by AE and your basically talking about the game and telling people that they should try it.

It's best to ask Fal.

To the idea itself: I'm not sure if that'd be much of a help, since WFGD is usually checked by people who play WF (that's only about 10, considering less than 10% of the playerbase is actually on the forums). Other players who don't rarely go there, so I'm not sure if promoting WF by signatures in WFGD would make a significant difference. If anything, the game should be promoted in other forums (which is highly unlikely unless there is a huge multi-game cross event) or be promoted in the Announcements section (which is more probable than promoting in other game forums).
