psibertus, I guess you won't believe a stun grenade on my partner in 2vs2 was 57 critical damage, I will not tell you who did that because it will be up to that person to come forward.

I go into battles to battle not take videos and pics to prove anything to you or anyone else, the long term bounty Hunters that used max EMP can confirm that it can take away 47 points of energy probably more with a high level technician, you would not know this because you are a level 33 tech mage.

If a person from China states, "The sun is rising over here.?" but does not show a video or picture are they lying? If a person says, "I heard a tree fall in the woods," but they don't have a recording, picture, or video are they lying that the tree fell or made a sound?

In a 2vs2 a Tech Mage with level 7 malfunction malfunctioned an opponent then I shot him with the Stun Blaster and got 74 critical damage which when I was a tech mage I got 79 critical damage with the frost bite blaster with low strength max Deadly Aim. So whether you believe these numbers that is your choice but to accuse a honest man of lying without proof is pretty shameful.

I have put a challenge out to the Cyber Hunters but no one wants to accept is it they they are not good enough players to figure out a build with high level technician and max EMP so we could see how much more energy they take to see if that the next over powered skill that needs a nerf?

So will the update be tonight or another week of waiting?

Hun, personally, I'm honestly sick of you calling CH and the rest of ED dumb because they don't want to waste 500 credits on you. I don't care if you refute in a normal manner but going to the point to call someone stupid because they don't care about your challenge is quite dumb and annoying.

And if your wondering, this is where you started calling us dumb/stupid.

I have some bad news unfortunately. *puts on helmet*

It doesn't look like this week's update is going to be ready to be released tonight. It's going to have to be pushed back until early next week. There's quite a few too many things that are still being tested and many bugs that still need fixing. The retraining UI has also been pretty stubborn and its not ready to be release today. I'm sorry for the delay everyone.

I can tell you the exact details of the balance changes we're making now. Remember that these are only the changes I'm sure will be included, so don't be surprised if we squeeze in one or two more things. We have addition changes planned that we were able to fit into this release, so those changes will probably be coming in the next few releases.

- Field Medic no longer improves with Support. It now only improves based on your characters level. A level 33 character can expect a 29 HP Health at skill level 1 and a 56 HP heal at skill level 10. The amount healed is increased every 2 levels.
- In addition, the cooldown on Field Medic has been reduced to 3 turns.
- Maul now has a Tech requirement, starting at 16 Tech and increasing by 2 Tech per skill level.
- Hybrid Armor now has a Dex requirement, starting at 15 Dex and increasing by 3 Dex per skill level.
- Frenzy now has a Support requirement, starting at 19 Support and increasing by 2 Support per skill level.
- Reroute now has a Tech requirement, starting at 24 Tech and increasing by 2 Tech per skill level.

Okay, so for a TLM to have max hybrid, they need 45 dex and max reroute is 44 tech which is good. At least I'll be facing less +12 Hybrid Armor TLMs. Most TLMs have maul at 1 and frenzy at around 4 so those 2 changes won't be helpful whatsoever.

HOWEVER, this would increase the amount of 5 focus TLMs which are even tougher to beat. So overall, not much of a balance adjustment. Also, you could have TLMs with +45 dex and + 38 tech with a high amount of strength still.

I don't like the heal nerf. Personally, for many classes, it was helpful to surviving against many opponents especially TLMs. I'll wait though and see if these are actually helpful.

@Hun Kingq- I use max EMP grenade as a Cyber Hunter. I tank and heal loop (as best I can, I didn't invest a ton into support), and I do allright. I've found it very good against players who have less than 120 strength.

my record is 81 (or 82) for EMP dont believe me check the World Records thread
anyway its highly possible for an EMP to do that high of a drain. and if someone tells me i would believe it.
not only because i drained past that amount of energy but because i been drained 47+ before.

it only took me about 30 seconds to come up with a new draft build.
however ill let everyone change to BH first.

and now that i know how healing works, its a perfect way for me to abuse it without using any support what so ever.
so huge str, huge heals, and huge tanking.
can it get any better?

wow so much requirements, i'm pretty sure requirements are temporary solutions starting with the very first one on artillery strike. If they wanted real balance start taking out the # of enhancements. Its that simple.... just slowly move enhancements down until there is only a max of 2 or 3 on a weapon. I guess this will slow strength and support TLM's on there tracks but i'm pretty sure the Strength TLM's will still be Oped with those +50 strength boosts.

Ashari, that seems a very harsh nerf for field medic. What is the rationale behind this extreme measure? Why have a field medic at all? Who is putting these balance changes forward?

If at level 33 character has a level 1 field medic that does 29, what will it do on a level 1 character?

Seems that the balance team is making the game worse, but as Laces said it won't do anything to rectify the balance issues and why are the starting requirements lower than the base statistics for a level 1 account?

Why have a balance team when you do nothing that helps, sorry for being so negative, but this is really becoming a farce. I expected a lot of changes from you guys and you have let me down. I am stunned that there has been no changes to the Tactical Mercenary skill tree. This is heal loop mages all over again, your punters are treated very poorly at times and when you look at the retention rate it is obvious that the developers and balance team are totally out of touch with the community in general!

Meh this is funny (rofls)

So 42 Dex reqed at max for HA.
A level 4 maul req's 20 Tech. I can get high Maul without worrying, my Eggzoka req's 30 Tech
Level 2 Frenzy req's 21 SUpport (tada)
I need 34 Tech for level 6 Reroute? Hilarious. 36 Tech for Level 7. You guys may have noticed Delta staff req's high tech as well.

this game is getting bad slowly and painfully Note to the admins: i don't want to hurt your feelings but you will see the changes in the future ( People will quit and go to Aqw, lower varium players, No more payers until Epicduel dies and completely forgotten) so if you can read this make up your your mind before giving a stupid update, no more creativeness no more strength build and support build NO MORE CREATIVENESS

I rather u make field medic continue to improve with support but make the cooldown 5 turns. U do realised that ur making str even more OPed.

Ur focus should be something u can use every turn(str), not something once every 3 turns(sup).

I'm not exactly sure if this balance update willacually nerf TLM. As stated by many others, tank TLM will indeed be harder to beat and support/strength TLMs will have high defense and resistance along with a decent amount of support or strength. But then again, without the high heal in support builds, that opens up a lot damage options because support TLM can't counter it with a mega-heal. Strength TLM though looks a little iffy due to the fact it looks a lot more OPed since most of them already have a good amount of dexterity. Now it seems they will dominate more than before. Who knows, I guess I'll wait for the update.

And we went even op I got beat all the time by tlms
So if we both get nerfed equally look who still will be

This is going to be 1 of the worst 'balance' update if ur really gonna roll it live, think twice while u still have time. All u get is gonna be a load of complains after that coz this isnt gonna acheive any balance, it will just make str tlm even more OPed. They wont have a problem coping with this update, while support get completely destroyed. Think twice, think thrice.

oh yeah and as long as the str tlms keep their skill points lower than the requirments, this update will not only affect other normal non abuse builds but give the str tlms a chance to be a tad above the rest of the tlms. i dont think this is a balance update.who agrees?

well let see what we have in this update

A skill name Field Medic was obliterate

a class name Mercenary was destroy not Tac Mercenary they will still be the same

What could a Non VARUIM do in a 2vs2 how long will New hope stay on top will find out soon enough

This change could bring the old Bounty back from the dead and further destroy what was left of a Tech Mage

dude u cant honestly compared these nerfs to tlm
tech mage is only getting a weaker heal and a req on reroute
thats it.
TLM is getting a weaker heal, reqs on HA, reqs on maul, reqs on frenzy, and reroute
