You need to upload the picture first(see no. 5.), then use the URL or link between these tags [image][/image] or [img][/img] Example 1: [image]URL[/image] Example 2: When using the URL or link between these tags [image][/image] or [img][/img] [image]http://www.battleon.com/images/homepage/promo-tshirt-firewar.gif[/image] Result/effect: Also, [img][/img] can be used, but [IMG][/IMG] cannot. For more information: 1. Click on the Profile button at the top of the screen, then use the URL of your image between these tags [image][/image] or [img][/img]. Then, put it into the Signature box. Then click on the Apply button at the bottom of the screem. 2. When you post there's a small box under your text called "Add Signature". Click on it and a little check appears, which shows your signature in that post. Remember: You may only use your signature once per page. :) Some forums don't allow Signatures at all. 3. Make sure it's a valid image type of .jpg, .gif, or .png. And, you're using the proper tags: [image][/image], or [img][/img] - NOT [IMG][/IMG] in capitals, that won't work. 4. The limit of the Signature If using a picture, total size should be no more than 500 pixels wide, 100 pixels tall, and 50 kb = 50,000 bytes file size. Taken from Detailed Sig Guide: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=469546 quote:
The maximum size for the entire sig is 500 (length) x100 (height) pixels (six lines if all text). ( VII.1) The maximum file size is now 50KB total. Make sure to check that text and images are both counted when checking the size. Many people often make this mistake, which results in a deleted sig. 5. You can resize your pic here. 6. You can upload that image to these following sites, and use the URL or link from there: www.photobucket.com www.imageshack.us www.tinypic.com www.picturepush.com/upa 7. If you want to know how to make a signature, or want to ask someone to make one for you, check out the Signature and Art requests forum. The sig experts there can help you out -- just be sure you read the rules there first. 8. For more information on sigs, this is a good guide: Forum Commands (screenshots, images, links, colors, signatures)
