@Andy, Yeah i'd like if it it did one at a time, doing both gun AND aux seems a little bit too much.

Hehehe, I will spam dex if I get robot since the two unblockable weapons will be disabled, that means str tlms will get screwed up :P
Welcome to the Era of High Dex Builds!
Some max supercharge plus some lvl 5 malfunction will deal with it! Also is release going on today?

I swear that ED has a real dislike towards mages. Especially Blood Mage

I have a real good build that will be DESTROYED by this furball

Ok, so how the Yeti works is that it just adds 2 turns of cooldown to the projectiles. They aren't disabled for the whole fight if that's what some people were fearing.

The power of STR builds is their Primary weapons, they still can use their Primary, they just cannot be stopped from a Gun delay. :) Unless the special rate is high enough. :D

@State:Calm down, I'm kind of bothered too, but whatever, seems they like to destroy Tech Mage class ( it doesn't affects me but it affects other TMs)
Also, I will ask this again: Are Tech Mages getting some skills buffed or at least a skill tree arrangement? Can't someone answer me that?

Well it was pretty ' Obvious ' that the Aux/Gun would be put in Cooldown...

Questions are:

Is it ' choosable ' or does it Insta Block Gun and Aux at the same time
WHAT is the cooldown of the effect on Gun and Aux

pretty shure This is what we want to know

Note: Still saying this to myself

Ok If the Yeti is 1900 varium Hope its like 3k Creds Like george lowe armor. not 15k creds is alot then i will have 41k :/

@andy123-

it's programmed as both simultaneously, and adds 2 turns of cooldown to whatever your cooldown currently is. The yeti itself has 3 turns of cooldown.

When people disable your stuff, you essentially gain a free turn. I dont mind. Im quite confident my BM build will be okay.

Lets say if i use my AUX then i will have 3 cooldown but if someone use the yeti when i already used the Aux i will get 5 Cooldown?

And do u know the Credits price of the yeti??

When will non-variums will be available to get the robot? Also it will be through a quest, drop, or bought?

Yeah lets cooldown gun so Mage passive gets reduced in effectiveness.

This could end up being the WORST update in ED history (since I been around, which was at the very end of Beta..so at the end I didn't grab 0 token cheevo cause I didnt know better)

If they wanna destroy our (BM and TM) deadly aim, they gotta give us something in compensation. Nearly every mage has TO use deadly aim.

@State: The wisest decision on battle would be to deal damage with gun/aux before they use the yeti. For me it is not a problem, sinceI don't use so many the unblockables

Primary weapons should actually be included to effect Strength builds. Including Gun is not enough to effect them since they still can continue with their Primary weapons.

That's why this will hurt Mages more than tact mercs ( or even Normal Mercs )

Tact mercs are able to have +30 damage enough health, energy regain and enough skills to manage

Bloodmages have 2 skills that improve with Str and Deadly aim which will be hit when that bot is used...

@DeathGuard: Tech Mages aren't getting any changes in this update. We are looking at updating scaling on a few skills, but that's not ready yet for this update.

The Yeti does a bit of damage on top of disabling your gun & aux, but it will be much less than the full bot damage of the regular attack. The special is blockable, which will block both the damage and the effect.

Right now the bot will only be available from the new Krampus NPC. I don't know of any plans to make it available elsewhere.

i would definatly pay the 1900 varium to get this yeti if it disabled aux and/or sidearm for the whole fight. 1900 varium is too much for how it is now imo.

Yeah I'm not following this.

This does absolutely nothing to str builds which I'm sure the majority will agree is the issue atm.

Before jumping to conclusions and being completely upset, I wonder if it does damage while disabling or if the special takes a turn to use just to put guns in cooldown for two extra turns...

Also will a player be able to use both yeti and another bot?

If it replaces the other bot slots, consists of the same damage as the gamma Bot or worse, and takes a turn specifically to keep your opponent from using sidearm and aux for two additional turns, I really don't see why this would cost 1900 varium lol.

I hope the release is soon and there is something to combat str with a little better because support certainly isn't the issue and it seems that it has been the target of releases since Beta.
