Lets pretend for a second I am a mage with primary physical staff, energy gun and energy zooka. I press 1v1,with high probability I will run into TacMerc, most likely the strenght one. We all know how game mostly follows math so he will probably go first even though he might as well have more than 60 support less than me. He uses yeti. I can't use my most offensive weapons for 2 more turns and I wait till he takes me roughly in what,4,5 rounds? Cause we all know biggest issue at this game is gun and zooka abusers. *clap clap clap* Now,not to make barbecue while the rabbit is still in forest, but judging by explanations given out so far I,stupid as I may be,can conclude only the following: 1. Someone whos idea this was doesn't even play this game any more,or even ever played 2. Simple logic- if game consists of highly percentage of strength builds, and apparently this yeti looks like mostly useful to them, sales of this bot should sky-rocket cause it practically guarantees win over any nonstrength build/class. I truly, truly hope ED hasn't sink so low to start exploiting player base for item ideas that way. As I said, its all still in guessing phase based only on previous posts. As a matter of fact,I would also like to hear input of your balance team whom,I suppose, already tested this new feature and came to conclusion that it is beneficial to all classes in same manner. If not, then you either need a new team,a new idea of the item itself, a new approach to the game in whole cause you sure as hell won't get new players to this broken system you call Epic Duel. I'm sorry to say this, but ed sunk that low years ago. Remember the first valtentines day release? yeah. All items in the set featured insane support (exept for cupids sorrow and perhaps one gun). And they were released right near the peak of heal looping.
