Let me guess, you got your powers from dark matter wells that only released themselves during a solar eclipse, found deep in the moon?

I like this story. It seems like it won't have any of our characters, but that's fine, and could actually improve the feel of the story, anyway.

It has quite a bit of potential indeed... and I like your writing style.
