  Battle Elf
has ten 1v1 wins

I watch and I see the servers are slowly filling up. As I'm writing this Epic is full, Exile is very close, and Legion is about halfway. I think its time another Epicduel server is added. Herosmash has 2 servers and usually theres only a couple hundred online at a time, on a typical Sunday afternoon Epicduel has over 2,000! So guys, if there was a new server, what would you want it to be called? :)

That does sound good, but I'm not sure it really goes along with the themes of alignment. "Exile, Legion, Epic, Doom" I'm not sure how Epic is a alignment though lol

@battle.
well the idea is to have a server named by the current phase we are in. Delta

later on when we change phase the name of that server changes aswell.

@ goldslayer .

With all the balance issues and the money hunger in this game i Doubt that even if they made a server called Delta youd ever get it to open and tell your friends to meet you there .

'Hey, see you in the Outcast' <= I'd love to say that

Mutant server
Cuzz we have Mutant gear now, and cuzz it's just cool :)

Mormo server
'Mormo' was the Ancient Greek name for a vampiric creature that bit bad children

Atlantis server
The Lost server, which returned ;)

I've been here a long time and even at it's busiest there is always room. No need for a new server.

If you like call the new server "invisible", assume it's already there and wait till Monday when there are ~500 players total in game. LOL

I agree that right now there is no need, but the epicduel community is expanding, maybe in a couple months it would be necessary :).

here an idea.
how about only having 1 server that fits up to 10k players?
battles would come alot faster (specially for team and jugger) on any day.
and there wouldn't be an issue of low lvls going into other servers where they wouldn't find people to fight.

@Goldslayer1 That seems like a good idea at first but there would be many issues, Crowding and lag are the ones that came to my mind right away, but thats just my opinion :)

@battle elf
not if they get GOOD servers.
the ones that are not cheap.

i played DC universe on free to play launch and their servers held up to 400k players in 1 single server and without lagg.

and also we have separate worlds to accommodate for the crowding.
and more could be added

Keep in mind Gold Slayer, Epicduel does not have the money bigger companies like DC have.

@battle elf
AQW servers can hold up to 3k players.
and they have 14 servers.
14 servers that can hold 3k players each.
im sure just 1 of those servers would do fine for ED (and an extra just incase)

this would help alot in the game to find matches alot faster.

btw has ED tried a TV commercial?
cause World of Warcraft went free to play and they got CHUCK NORRIS on their latest TV commercial.
and that seriously got them tons of more players.

Constructive!

Hopefully this will be continued in more players coming on board. The more players that support this game with varium purchases, the less cost will be reflected for all of us. I am extremely excited for this Friday.

agreed with goldslayer's idea of ed getting a commercial, though ed still needs a lot more improvements before actually getting a commercial that will captures gamers' interests into playing ed

@Goldslayer I agree, but AQW does have lots more players, I've been on when theres been atleast 15,000. But it does seem reasonable for ED to have at least one of those :).

Legendary AK!!!

@gold Think a little. WoW probably made millions of bucks before they went F2P so of course they could afford Chuck. The money didn't go away when they went F2P so they still had it to get Chuck Norris for advertising.

Chuck is cheap, or so I understand. He didn't break the bank at WoW for sure.

Advertising isn't going to dramatically change a thing around here. The only thing new players will see are lots of items they can never get, factions they can never top and all timers they can never hope to unseat. So worth investing money in.

Spart you have no clue how right you are a week into playing this game most players brought in from ads to fill up Server space would realize there heads are full of Dreams of Grandeur and leave

@mallet
from what i understand from when they were pay to play. and since they made the game they constantly had about 11 million subscriptions. (meaning 11 million people paying $15 a month) and they been here for 6-7 years now? i think that clearly puts them in the billions category. (COD still makes 500 million within the first day of game sale tho)

still tho i wish ED would have atleast 1 of AQW's server so battles are much easier to find.

I agree that many changes with factions/OP classes need to be addressed before a commercial showing them off is aired.
