did i not have a rant about that partickuler skill ages ago?

lower teh crit chance on that skill from 50 to like 20-30% or lesse nteh damge buffer a bit becuase most mental attack skills are rather strong on thier own while stuff like fire are to weak on thier own to do any good so you HAVE to have some form of buffing for that...i mean really e.e get fire back on radar

I demand a Lvl 20 Brain Freeze! =P Anyway, the problem is mostly with excessive burst damage that I've seen with some builds. Death touch is fine because it has long cooldown but mental skills (I think that's what they were) are WAY too much. I played many matches and have had my health drop by 700+ in a single hit.

Awwww, are we mental users a bit too tough? I suppose you're right.

Actually, I happen to agree only because knocking someone out in about two hits just ain't fun anymore!

Oh, and that is if the other person isn't using stuns, heheh. That's the best defense for mental barrages so far. Makes sense in real life too!

Yes, there do need to be changes for it to a certain extent. I trust AE to make fair changes, meheheh, but we shall see.

^Mhm that's how stun does the job. I remember this guy from smashdome demanding that I cease stunning him, but he keeps on spamming his mental powers..I LOL'D.

It's not that you're "tough" per say; it's just that your build(s) leave NO room for retaliation so it's both cheap AND overpowered.

Mental builds aren't unbeatable. I won't say how, but I can beat mental people without even using a stun.

But yeah, right now mental builds are on the overpowered side and there does need to be some balancing. But remember that new powers are coming out and we don't know how strong the other elements will become.

Hmm? Are you asking what I meant? I was specifically talking about the Super/Ultimate powers that will soon be coming out. We don't know what elements those will be.

Terra, you make a valid point. I would specify that Super Intellect is what makes most mental builds nearly unretaliateable (Heheh, I hope that's a word), at least for most non stunners. Mental abilities like Shadow, Radiation and a few others seem to offer a bit more variety as well.

I've tried alot of different mental (sometimes mental and dark) builds WITHOUT the use of Super Intellect. Meheheh, I've done much testing on this just like a good little researcher. Crits weren't as high - around 230-360, or somthing like that. They were modest, so I do see potential for changes that will make the build less "cheap & overpowered". Yes, it would have to be for Super Intellect though.

Super Intellect Description - "Your brain surges with power increasing the effectiveness of all mental abilities by 100% and mental critical strike chance by 50%."

And that's for lvl 20 SI. Those are some pretty substantial odds! >XD

So that's the real culprit! Although they could just make it like MechQuest where they have a cap for buffs, or at least for PvP only or something.

Anyways, I fought Clowny, who was using a *somewhat* mental build, and I nearly beat him. And I was three levels weaker than him.

I'm not quite sure yet. They seem good to me. One of them I really like, but it does have some problems with it so I'm still experimenting with my builds.

the cost of the legendary powers are 75k fame right??.. and the SC versions are 300 SC but only needs 20 rank...

so like 100k fame is equal to 300 SC??

I have about 250,000 fame, I'd be fine if I could trade that in for 600 SC's... =D

frankly i like the led powers...they arent to OP but they are stronger then most powers in game as for effects and damge and healing gose...i am upset about one skill haven a DoT effect for man AND hp..plus slowing you down...

sooo i ask this to everyone..this is a personal basied question so let your feelings go on this

should a power have more then two effects on it?

Link : Yes, but not to the point that the effects are equally devastating. For example if a skill inflicts heavy damage plus DoT then it should focus on at least one of its effects. It can't be overpowered on both sides, like inflicting 50-60 DoT plus damaging an average of 400-500. If it's focused on heavy damage then the DoT must be lowered to 10-20, but if it focuses on the DoT, then the heavy damage must be lowered to 150-200..
