@Jzaanu, I hope you read my post at least to take an idea for a new feature

I was thinking of a new battle mode called Clone vs Clone, it will consists of this:
The three starter classes will have the same base stats, all the weapons will costs the same, will have the same number of stats mods and will be arranged in the same way, they will have energy and physical versions with the same stats mods arrangement, the weapons, guns, armors, and aux for this battle mode CAN ONLY BE BOUGHT BY CREDITS! Evolved classes can't participate in this mode, the weapons won't have enhance slots, the classes will have different skills as always, they can't class changed to other starter class, they will be the class they chose for the battle mode.


Restrictions of this battle mode, crits and deflects will not be on this battle mode, they will be banned from the battle mode, block rate and stun rate will be lowed down, rage will not increase with support, the skills will have the same increasing lvl for each skill. No skill, no matter debuffing, buffing or ultimate skill will be more powerful than another one. Boosters will be accepted, but robots will be banned also from this battle mode, same as special ability weapons.

All the restrictions and rules of this battle mode will make the battle more interesting and fair, the winner will win because of skill and not of luck, I think it is worthing taking it in mind and making it in-game. I'm sure many will agree about it.

Lol yes while we do acknowledge the fact that we have finally been given more inventory space and we do thank the team for managing to give us that considering it does come from Scrooge Entertainment. :)

It still is a far cry from what I am offered on another game. It has the 12 days of christmas and each day we are either given something free or the money bought items are reduced by up to 50%.

Currently, for todays give away they are emailing each and every one of us a code which will give us 10% - 50% off any purchase or purchases we want up to the 24th December.

Along with that they have been running daily raffles for the whole of December with daily prizes of $10 currency. On December 25th and January 1st the prizes are $50 game currency.

The free give aways have been christmas lights for our homes which we can buy for money or gold and also a polymorph into a snowman for a day. :)

I agree that the war leaderboard is just another ploy to get players to spend as much as they can, which I personally consider very sad since most children and adults alike should be using their online game time as pleasure not a big fat pain in the hip pocket.

A lot of people are trying to buy christmas gifts for family and friends at this time of year.

Shame on you ED/AE for not spreading a little more christmas cheer.

I've got a few things that have been on my mind about this new war. After talking to Mokta 3 and finding out that from rank 6-7 it takes 150k-400k war points. Why would you do this Admins? This number is enormous for a war that is supposed to last a few months. And there are still a few more ranks after that. Why create something that is daunting and nearly impossible unless your pockets are deep enough. The only way I see this making any sense is that the war ranks follow you for every war. But seeing achievements being labeled "Frysteland" I fear that these war ranks will be reset for each war.

Also, I believe the rank achievements replacing the last isn't the best idea. We are always shy on new achievements and for new players these will help them gain star rankings if they participate enough. So why not let us keep each achievement we earn from each war rankings. This is our first war so these will be become a nice status symbols to have when this game gets older/out of testing phases.

The war is not between exiles and legion it is truly who spends the most money to make it fare they should have never introduced the super bomb just bomb drops I battle the top level NPC 100 times and the bomb was dropped only 6 times so how could non-paying players get to the top of the board especially with each kill is only 20 war kill points for the top level. The Super bomb should have never been introduced that way all players have and equal chance of getting to the top of the board making players earn the ranks not pay for the ranks. Sine this is a war then for each kill we should get battle tokens
for the level 1 NPC 1 battle token,
Level 2 NPC 2 battle tokens,
Level 3 NPC 3 battle tokens
setting off the bomb 4 battle tokens

So the players that spent the most money and got to the top of the board will you be truly honest and fair players step to the side and allow for other players to a chance to get to the top and get the achievement as well or will you be greedy and spend 300 dollars a day to prevent other players from doing so? If you don't answer those question here we will see in the game and what will the staff do about it?

DeathGuard, I suggest adding it to the suggestions thread. It is a very interesting concept that will definitely require thought and skill. :)


One term I hear so much, and honestly, many times, it is out of true context. Pay to win.

In regard to Epic Duel, players play, create, compete, and have advantage (pay), to have a greater success in winning.

How many players buy varium weapons they never use just because they enjoy the artist beauty? It doesn't happen rarely.

How many players buy homes just because it seems like it would be great for community building. Again, not many.


This game is based on being competitive, and it is the sole reason this game can generate any revenue. Once players can diversify themselves and purchase items beyond gaining an advantage, more aspects will be more achievable for all types of players.

Sparticus, you mentioned the AQW event, do you have suggestions that are popular enough, outside of pvp, players can participate and enjoy in this game. AQW is a social game first. The actual competing is not like this game.

If players support(spend) on more community social releases, then the game will have more outlets to generate revenue.

I view this war as community, and players who choose to spend Varium and/or time for this event, they will make a huge mark in expanding this game. Players who are unhappy because they can't obtain 1 achievement from this event, please do think a bit beyond yourself, and see it from a social insight. You will see younger players wanting to join factions. You see players wanting to make a difference.

I must also let you know, Buffy or Mokta or any of the players on either lists will not win the war alone. It will be a commutative effort from all players. If you can't see that, then it might be time to revisit this event with different ideals

In one small aspect of your post Jzaanu I agree. Community involvement in the war itself was a hugely wonderful idea. However, ED just had to spoil it by making it a PAY to be famous event AGAIN!

ED offers nothing really to a community. Never has and never will.

The attitude is most antagonistic and apathetic. Sounds contradictory but it is how I would sum up ED.

im not gonna bother doing this releases
ill say this tho, im disappointed in the way it turned out.
if this event is going to stay pay to win, then atleast leave it there forever and dont make it rare after the frysteland goes rare. just leave the war here and make it fair for everyone.
also make the faction war bar abd notifications only visible in frysteland. i dont wanna be in fortune city and see the frysteland war updates.

Actually if you read back its AQ, that's Adventurequest. It's not a social game at all, it's you all alone playing against the game. When a player gets a notice that another random player has given them 10K in gold, it just lights them up. I was recently luckily enough to get such a gift and I happen to know the person who gave it to me randomly. I was also lucky enough to give a similar gift to one of my favorite MODS on the forum and she was ecstatic.

My suggestion would be that players are give the opportunity to donate small sums of credits after defeating an NPC in a random manner, say with a rate of 5%, and the donation would be given without mention of the donors name. That would mirror the AQ model. Players on the forum post players names they donate to for kicks so that's how I found out about my donor but otherwise the process is random and selfless.

Shadronica, with the one achievement, indeed the winner will likely always have to provide a substantial varium investment.

The question is, what will players want to purchase with varium that doesn't involve gaining an advantage or affecting pvp? The game's revenue comes from mainly weapons sales, and nothing much. Even the War-kills feature has diminished in participation.

The players will have to voice-up on what they are willing to pay for. As of now, if we look at the game's demographics, it is about convenient wins.

I wish for more features to be added, and though this one achievement might cause issues, it is a community event where all levels and classes can participate.

My apologies Sparticus, I did not reading thoroughly. That is a great suggestion.

On the old forums, I remember there was a discussion about making events and items purchased would go to charity or a humanitarian cause.

@Spart that would be pretty awesome But sadly i would not be sending along any credits maybe if we could send credits Varium or Battle Tokens, your choice of course, because i would love to pass on my wealth of tokens to someone else because im not using them and maybe some newbie could get them and go win a robot in the arcade or something

That .. is just it Jzaanu. This game isn't for the average player with any amount of intelligence. It caters purely to the gamer trying to gain acknowledgement from their peers by spending ludicrous amounts of money. The average gamer is not even worth two seconds of ED's time.

The day they deviated from purely acknowledging players efforts with the solo and team leaderboards was the day this game decided that its "all about the money baby! YEAH baby!".

I appreciate exactly what you are trying to do Jzaanu but I just don't think that ED can think outside the AE box.

@OWA: That's the point of the giving, those who have more then enough can give to those who perhaps don't. Those without don't have to do anything. It's an ideal system with no losers and lots of winners and the overall game economy is net 0. I don't see any down side to it. Giving varium might be untoward so game credits are the best idea.

another big fail, not putting the war kill war bar total for the WD system.
its not shown in conductor.
conductor only shows list of people who fired, and list of factions on boards. but not who is actually going to win

Take a look at Exiles board, Donna Matrix is on it.

Mods have no place on a board like this when they have unlimited varium. It's not fair to the other players who have worked so hard to make it there and want their recognition.

Who cares that it's just 22k. Whoever was in 10th place deserved that spot not a mod.

i seen wiseman fire war kills several times in the past couple of weeks.
he helped his faction get 2 WDs thru war kills >.>

according to the data i got from mokta
it should take about $1350 (27 large packages) to get the highest rank thru super bombs only.

and then i hear that they aren't money hungry. im sorry but that seems over kill.
