Best to say "Good luck" before a match. Never hurts to say it (though Goldslayer1 might disagree otherwise)

If I said good luck to him the RNG takes it seriously and gives him good luck

Don't call your opponent a noob because you got lucky and beat them. Noob is NEVER a good word to use.
Refrain from discing in general, actually.

Don't complain about the game unless you could do better and or contribute.

For us variums, guys chill out if you aren't lucky. We have an enormous advantage, and there's no reason you should g
be mad. It happens to the best of us.

Constructive!

This is such a uniquely strange thread, but a fun read.

My addition...
Any 25+ level player who still using a starter weapon, instead of calling them the many complimentary names we all know quite well, ask them politely, what are they saving for? Majority of times, they had sacrificed the ability to compete/items just to have opportunity to save and obtain a weapon they have been wishing for.

I like the idea of just never saying noob, unless jokingly to a friend who knows you are joking.

Also, saying my partener sucks in 2vs2 or your partener is better should end.

Its pretty much saying they are a noob and its to your partener!

The one person you want to cooperate with so you can have a better chance of winning!!

@Frogbones

I disagree with 2, 3 and 5, primarily because they are overgeneralised and have numerous assumptions behind them.

2 (and by extension, 3): It is entirely possible for the TLM to be at a disadvantage, making his use of boosters rather justified. Some examples of these situations include ridiculously overwhelming luck factors, and if the opponent is a varium user, while the TLM is not.

I propose that the wording of 2 can be changed along the lines of 'If you boost against your opponent, despite having an inherent and significant advantage, and therefore win the battle, it is not a good game and the term "gg" should not be used'.

5: Again, despite my relative inexperience in 2v2, I have been in numerous situations whereby the single player manages to defeat both his opponents. In a situation whereby the single player is still a significant threat, defensive moves are warranted.

I like to say sorry to players when their partner drops out in 2v2.

Nothing worse then when your at the other end and people laugh at you...

Another is if a fame request gets rejected I would prefer it if after that they didnt ask why...
Its anoying when they ask for fame and you say no thanks, then they ask why.

Also another thing would be to not think of people badly just because they may have a poor win ratio.
Its important to note that not all people NPC and some may have only just become a varium player after being non varium for a long time.
ESPECIALLY do not make fun of people win records if you are a TLM in many cases it is your class that has given them the bad undeserving record.

Good post.

Please don't say LOL after you block your opponent, there is nothing to laugh about.

I also hope the "noob", "nob", or even "nb" can be blocked in the chat window.

Good suggestions, people! Keep 'em coming ....

@ Silver: I do llike your wording better than my original (which was, btw, somewhat tongue in cheek). ;)

First post edited accordingly.

Beep Beep! ArchKnight AQ / ED

I think no matter what level your opponent is, whether he was good that match, or bad, they are still trying to better themselves and i believe they should be respected and encouraged to continue, (i am not saying this does not happen, but you get what i mean) If a player gets bad mouthed it is only going to put them off playing and the time spent making their character up will be lost if they quit which can sometimes can be the case, but rarely. I say gg nearly every match no matter how bad or good i felt it was, the thing is with me, if they try their best and give it their all, it IS a good game.
