@Balu wait i thought the healing spell was a fsb for the pet; do u mean the burn? because that can be inflicted at anytime. but the info subs say the heal is a pet set bonus, not a bonus when the shield is equipped; which to me implies a fsb

Yes, the heal is set bonus, it doesn't say it's Full Set Bonus though, which means as long as you have at least one of the set other than the pet equipped, you will have a chance of triggering the heal. The burn effect is the MC bonus of the pet. Since when did Balu say that it's not set bonus?

The Darkness variants of Haliphax are in the Pets Release Dates Index, but the Twilight set variants (the Light versions) are not. They can all be found here.

I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this, but how can the highest level Shadow Pony be bought if the level cap is 140? the level cap is 140 right?

You cannot purchase the lvl 144 ones currently. They're there for when the level cap raises in the future. - Dragoon23

May I ask how do they differ if a BeastMaster Warrior chooses the Magic version and the BeastMaster Mage chooses the Warrior version? Other than attack style and looks, do they differ in terms of stat usage, I mean.

Also, the description for the ranged:

Your little shadowpony will be your very best friend! This one can fly into your enemies with great speed....um, that is, if that's what you want....

Corrected. Thanks! - Dragoon23

They don't - also, it's not really a Warrior version , it's just a Melee, Ranged and Magic version.

So basically the only incentive to get a version that differs from the other is the attack style and looks?

Really? Dragoon23's post says that the shadowunicorns have a one hit attack while the shadowponies and the shadowpegasi have a two hit one.

I bought all of them and tried them out. I've only seen the Unicorns do one hit. The other two has 2 hit attacks - Dragoon23

MC Light Pet.

The normal attack is two hits, Light Melee and Light Magic.

MC Bonus: Burns undead and zombies. There is a 0.07143 chance of this being applied. The monster makes a save at a -20 penalty:
Level: PowLvl vs MonsterLvl
Major: YourCHA vs MonsterDEX
Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK

If it fails, then the monster becomes Burnt (Level = PowLvl, power = 4.2, duration = # of hits that connected). Light-element monsters are immune to this.

Full Set Bonus: A 20% chance of healing you. The healing is equal to *0.85/2 of a pet attack.

EDIT: For the "Full set bonus", you only need the armour and shield. No weapon needed.
