You forgot to set level 91 as LanZe, as opposed to Lance. Also remember to change the "also see..."

    The weapon is supposed to receive a 1.02 modifier for being a 100% proc weapon. However, in this case that was forgone to give the weapon the ability to boost spell damage. So I guess the penalty is the weapon deals normal damage because it doesn't receive the 1.02 boost for being a 100% proc weapon.

    		I'm still confused, does the Pen have a regular Special (not it's normal attack)? If so, I think it should receive *1.02/0.9 instead.

    And the numbers seem too high. 52 BTH on the top level version? o.O
    That looks like the BTH of a regular Special...

    @Below: I get that but the Morningstar Occult Cross Analysis says:

    		The pen is a 100% special weapon Karmakas. So the damage is 90% of a normal weapon and because of being 100% special it is supposed to get a 1.02 modifier. That modifier does not exist on this weapon and that is the penalty for the spell boost. The 1.02 modifier was removed and changed into the form a the spell boost.

    Edit: Bth is fixed there was a mixup when I did it.

    That is exactly what I'm saying. There is no boost to damage to compensate for no attack instead it goes into the spell boost.

    Normally, over 10 rounds, you do two spellcasts and eight weapon attacks. Spellcasts are as 200% of a round. 100% proc weapon attacks start off as 0.9*75% of a round, plus a "no special" boost that brings it up to 1.02*0.75. So over 10 rounds, you deal 2*2 + 8*0.75*1.02 = 10.12 rounds of damage. If we move the "no special" boost onto spells, then spells go from 200% to [Boost]*200%, and weapon attacks remain at 0.9*75%. So over 10 rounds, you deal 2*2*[Boost] + 8*0.75*0.9 = 10.12 damage.

    Solving for [Boost] gives [Boost]=1.18.

    Looking back the SBR and Stat for the Pen were off and they have been fixed now.

    		You misunderstand. I ask as to what stats are used. For the typical Gun, for example, we get DEX/40. For the typical Magic weapon, we get INT*3/32. What do we use for this weapon?
