Well majority of us here in forums(ed of course) know what will happen next do you think it's time to say goodbye to arcade? Will you commemorate the death of Arcade or what if we have an arc zooka/arcade zooka?

Arcade won't die just because devs will add drops to the PvP...

I probably still will try from time to time to get that freaking assault bot. But I guess, and hope, that they soon will add more things in arcade. Both rewards and mode's. Which will make it more interesting again.

Technically doing arcade after this event should double your chances of getting a reward :P

Perhaps it would be less frusterating to do arcade if there were a few PVP rewards inbetween all the "sorry try again"'s.

Not sure why anyone thinks arcade will die.

can someone post a reason for thinking this? its not like 10k, an assault bot, a bike or a house will be on the random pvp drops list.

The drops of PVP wont be that much big as Arcade so arcade will stay alive unless if they add more prizes...

@^: Try 2000 tokens already spent -.-

All i've gotten is about 5,000 credits and my prized Assault Bot...

I've won the hoverbike on 2 accounts, 10k on 2 and the house on 1, the assault bot on 1. I won the hoverbike after an hour of trying, spending around 125 tokens... It's all down to luck, but you have reasonable chances. As has been stated, the PvP drops probably won't be nearly as desirable as Arcade drops, so I think the Arcade will continue to harbour traffic.

The arcade was nothing more than an abomination. It was a rushed mistake by the devs. The cost is ridiculous, the prize support was a bike that was incredibly hard to get. I'm just glad that the nightmare is over now.

Sort of off topic. When will the PvP drops be coming out?

Henry,
Friday I assume

I don't think arcade will die, I assume regular PVP will have very mild rewards, ex health boosters, while Arcade battles will have a much greater reward.

Just my opinion

DN:

You may notice that the arcade pods scattered across Delta V were deactivated or removed from many screens. This was done because had to remove the old arcade code to make way for the new PvP drop system. The advantage is now there is no limit to the prizes we can offer, and all the chances to win will be completely FREE!

This also means that the prizes of the Hoverbike and Assault bot will be reassigned to the PvP drop system in the next update.

The arcade has long been a place i have feared and despised (I'm not really sure why) so having it disappear would be a wonderful blessing.

Though doing PVP for random item drops will allow us to not have to spend tokens. Its a completely different thing though, I assume lots of people will still be using the Arcade mainly because of the greater item drop and reward rate/size.

Now what to do with that room in val's shop that says "ARCADE".....

Maybe the should put a little arcade mini game in there. With a little achievment for the high scorers.

No token refund as well. Why can't ED reconsider a token refund to everyone who has tried their best to get rewards from arcade and didn't get any.

@Frost Lich
Hopefully they refunded it as well but I think this is not included in they're plan.
