that's a change to previous information that'll make some people happy. just to be clear a lot of what we've been discussing is based on preliminary info and we can't confirm how anything really works until we see it in game.

Nulgath said that there is no such thing as a "NPC" in oversoul on his twitter.

Hopefully no one has posted that already...

I prefer playing with male characters, but rarely I choose females, mostly as alternative account types.

@exalaber Can you link us to that tweet? There being no such thing as NPCs in OverSoul sounds weird.

I'm assuming the "no NPCs" comment means that there will be no "non-playable characters" in OverSoul and that all characters in the game will be playable in one form or another.

that's exactly what he means, he's said that since day one. if there is a character in the game, there WILL be some way to possess and play with that character in your party, it just might not be easy to get them.

well that clears that up, I thought that meant no quest givers or anything like that.

^ dont forget they are probably gonna be split between three faction so that means "120/3 =40" 40 characters for you to obtain, BUT 120 to battle! sounds epic cant wait.

Ugh... people ranting in the comments on how it's not an AQW armour.
I hate AQW. :/
Liked it at first but now the fanbase only exists out of teens, needless to say it became crap.
I hope the same thing won't happen to Oversoul, because it looks sick right now.
