Extending All Time Leder Boards.

Hey , Guys.

As we all know getting into a leader board is a "Cool" stuff , but for a new players who just started playing now , its nearly impossible to get get into L.B , mainly solo and Team.

My idea , Extend the Leader Board to Top 20 players!!

This would encourage the new players to play Even hard and make it to the Leader board.

What do u guys think??? (Supported or Not?)

ingame no.
the boards are what cause alot of lag to the game.

however an outer game boards would be better for top 100.

if they can do boards for things like health and energy, i have no doubt that they could do a board for other things.
like top 100 on all modes.

a faction leaderboard for all types of faction data for top 10 would be nice aswell.
like top 10 for most solo wins.
top 10 for score.
top 10 in flags.

I got a Better idea!.

They should make a New Leaderboard for Legends and Grand Emperor,Everone on leaderboard All-Time Solo who has 80k wins Should be on the new leaderboard ! idk if it's a good idea but probably...

^ And to add on to that i would like to see the rank system being:

1 1vs1 win = 1 point

1 2vs2 win = 2 points

1 Jug win = 1.5 or 2 points (not sure, lol)

This means that people like New Hope should be a grand emperor coz she got 25k++ 2vs2 wins (50k points).

in game no out game yes the top 5 can be made to top 20 since the stat leader board outside the game is kinda pointless and useless.

Out of game list of the top 100 players in each category would be nice to see. I can't imagine it's that hard a thing to program and it would give many more players the chance to see how they stack up. Question is, where would that list be placed? ED homepage? Forum list? Any other suggestions?

Making the leader Board outside the Game is point less, no body really cares checking .
New players after getting to lvl 34 , will smthing to look up for , i mean try to get in leader board .

What do u think ED after 3-4 yrs from now.? all leaders board could have above 100k wins(15th position) , then would any new players have chance or even think of aiming to get into L.B ??

things would get boring.....

No, I dont have a better idea. It is a good... "idea" you have, yet it isnt, so to speak :P Having a Top 100 list would be better, yet it would cause lag as many have said... so a Top 100 on the homepage would be better.

I like the idea a bit. To reduce the lag people can just FIX THEIR SETTING..... lol and now...

Y dont v juzz leave the "lag" stuff to the Dev's and agree on good ideas, its not like impossible for them to reduce lag when there r top 20 players....

u guys talk like u "obviously" know it will lag, u cant be sure until they try..

M sure players who r really close to getting into the L.b , would be surely happy with this idea .

Do u really think adding 5 more players would cause lagg?

as far as i know , the lag was caused coz of the leader board updating after every few mins.. but now it doesn't so , i dont think it would cause any lag.

first off srry to burst your bubble. now time for some hard evidence.

well i rather the devs concentrate on balance stuff and new updates rather than worrying about lags and it is not just 5 more players it is 15 players and if i m not wrong the coding for all boards are the same so that means the daily boards will also need to 20 players in total. hmm 15+15=30 players and o not forgetting fame and fame daily that 10 more. ah wat bout factions flags wd 20 more factions and war kills that another 10 more. oh almost forgot rarity boards 5 more. now lets add them all up well i will take a short cut 17X5=85. 85-30=55. 55 more players and 30 more faction o i wonder it that would cause a lag. 25 players in the daily and 10 more faction in the daily wont cause a lag oh i think NOT. the fact here is all the boards are coded the same way 1 board goes haywire= all boards go haywire. 1 board change= all board must change.

proof that the coding of all the boards are the same is when the last weeks bug so if i board change all boards need to be changed.

Exactly remove the health-str-dex... boards they are just no need and increase all time boards to 100 at there

i think if you erased all the npc wins from the leader board....maybe more ppl would be able to be on them

So what if leaderboards were desynched from the game engine and appended to their own webpage (such as character pages) altogether?

 I agree that Epic Duel would benefit from a more extensive ranking list. Simply put, it would allow players to more accurately gauge where they stand and would encourage players to play more extensively. How many attributes it should include is an interesting question. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a top 100 at least, and possibly a top 1000 board for individual all-time 1v1, 2v2 and juggernaut battles.

I would suggest that the current in-game boards remain "as is", and the extended leader boards should be reflected on this page. The boards should update once per day - just like the in-game all-time boards. A click-able button, opening up a new tab directing to the external leader board page I linked above could be placed on the page housing the in-game leader boards. This button would work exactly like the character webpage button on the stat page of each player.

a couple months back they changed the all time boards. when there was a ton of lag.
the boards would constantly update wins for all time players and for flag caps and war kills.

when titan took that constant every 3-4 minute updating, and made it update every 24 hours it made the game lag ALOT less.

the reason why it would make more lagg is because ur putting more stress on the game to update something on the boards. like more all time players.

thats why all time boards should stay as it is, and have an external board page which would be much easier and cause less lagg on the game.
