How do you Think they are priced ?

What could be done to improve or change this method?

That is all!

Please Discuss!

Fixed title as per rules of no varium price discussion and removed in-thread rules as that is mini-modding. ~TG

They are priced by adding Credit and Varium tags.
Improved? If you got in mind formulae that works fine with scaled rewards in the future then I'll pass this one to you as Credits will be easier to get sometime soon.

Creditwise, I think items are priced perfectly. Along with drops and broken items, weapons should be easy to obtain, which they are. As for varium prices, it gets really expensive as you level up. A ten dollar donation will only get one varium weapon above level 30. Broken items are a nice solution, but even with broken weapons only one is purchaseable with a ten dollar upgrade.

As more and more gear is released, I feel that varium prices should go down since varium gear would be more bountious and one weapon seems less exclusive then it did in the past.

the way i see it, it cost a lot per weapon/armor and the sell back is kinda crazy.
i mean getting half back for credits is ok but your only getting 20% of your varium back.

I think pricing should be scaled to level as well.
The amount it would take a level one player to enhance his weapon is the
same for everyone regardless of credit or varium, one size fits all
is not a good model

Pricing is already scaled by level, at least for newer weapons - that's why there's difference in price at every level unless it's an old weapon. Having pricing all over the place would've been poor idea from the start.

I fixed the thread title to make this topic a non-varium only discussion on item prices as per the rules disallowing financial discussion. Please avoid stepping over this boundary and have a nice constructive discussion with nobody calling people "hypocrites" even in jest.

Constructive!

With the additional features of sellable drops and power-hour, it provides more opportunity to save. Being a non-varium player, one has to be more selective due to lower victor percentage and enhancements, so being patient and planning for the future is valued.

Credit prices should always be a small percentage higher then their varium level equivelent. And I think this will depend on the rarity of the item as well.
