I just bought the 10k varium pack for my friend who is level one. The bio bot kills everyone below level 10 because he has added only health and cause players cant equip an aux at low levels.
I guess all robots need a minimum level requirement of 20. Although it does not effect me, but so many low level noobs were annoyed when he used it.

basic ball. Make a noob character and fight for 2 hours. You wont find anyone using a aux or gun. Maybe the starting characters need a level 1 gun or aux by default when they start the game.
I dont think many players know what a vend bot is.

the fact that they don't use an aux does not change the fact that they CAN use an aux.
i wonder how many plyers i would find during those 2 that use a bot though. especially the bio borg since it's about the only usefull bot at those levels.

Level requirement: Yes.

Stat requirement: No.

What about level scaling the special ability?

My one issue is, if we have level requirements, do we make robots of different levels? Or a level mutating robot? I would allow a player of any level to equip a robot, but scaled to damage and the power of the special attack. 80% denerfing of a nerf would be most suited for level cap players, especially being a free to use skill.

a normal player or a player purchasing a 5k varium package has to farm credits to buy a bot. On the other hand someone with a 10k varium pack gets to use a bot at level 1. Kinda unfair to lowbies. We wouldnt want someone who just started playing to quit now do we.

How exactly are robots overpowered though aside from special abilities?

I think its fine,

Just because players dont know to get auxes /guns etc does not mean level requimrents need to be added.

People need to learn from there mistakes anyway, How are they suposed to learn how to get above the rest if they are consticnatly being protected from restricitions?

I disagree. Its rare to find lowbies with bots. So I don't see the problem besides the price is a little hefty so I don't see the prob.

I dont think you should penalize a person because they have the ability to pay and some one does not.
Especially after the fact you bought one for your friend, everyone has the freedom to choose what is best
for them, and yes it may gain the person an advantage but it will only be temporary. People adjust no
one in their right mind likes losing but the best players learn and grow and the game gets better, while
the rest either give up and quit or become class hoppers in my opinion neither one of the last mention
are good for the game. I disagree to a minium level, but do agree to scale bot to level.

I would not instinctively say temporary, robots are weapons scaled only by stat points so they are always an option as the main weapon.

I do believe only temporary because people do adjust and the game will evolve. At the lower
level the bot would be a focus 1 and still would be more powerful than a lot of attacks, but
as that person levels up he would be facing stronger opponents, so the edge he has
is temporary.

As so do stat points however. Fifth Focus is achieved at a maximum player level of 25. After Focus has been fulfilled, there are 36 more stat points to administer at the level cap of 34. 36 points equals up to 72 more health points or up to 9 levels of Resistance (plus Technology is the stat improving the damage of robots). This is not including the stats from equipment even. I would say the edge is noticeably sharp still.

Legendary AK!!!

Making the effects scale by Focus level would greatly help out the problem of bots being too effective at such low levels.
