I also thought we had made it impossible for a level 29 to get into a fight with a level 34. If this isn't the case then I believe it's a bug and I'll have to take a look at it.

Would it be possible to expand equipment requirements on 2v2? E.G. For 1v1 you need a primary and for 2v2 you additionally need a sidearm and aux (Or maybe even an armor).

So Rabblefroth DOES support manipulating encumbrance to help in fixing 2v2 matching? Nice!

@void Err, I don't see exactly where he said he supported changing Encumberance or where it could be viewed as him saying he wanted to change it either.

Whoops, my apologies, what I meant to state was that Rabblefroth would be willing to use encumbrance as a guideline (30 & 34 vs 34 & 34) as lv 30s are capable of equipping lv 34 gear, bringing theoretical stat points closer together when comparing the 2 teams.

I don't think he meant that either. I think he meant he wanted to lower the level ranges so it's more fair of a fight if you get the worst situation. Not every lvl 30 has access to top lvl 34 gear.

Yes, that is what I meant in essence, depressing the 2v2 level range so that extremes are not as prominent.

Edit:

About the lack of encumbered gear... I would discredit that to a bundle of causes. One being information, ED contains no in-game tutorials about managing credits, likely because business is more supportive of circulation, having us the consumers sell our possessions and purchase anew. I would discredit another cause to costs perhaps... sellback is not as favourable as I can tell when many people give feedback about sellback. Prices inflate randomly as well, just looking at Mjolnir. This game could use some stability aid for players looking to do trade.

Another clear example of bad 2vs2 pairing, and some1 without any weapons.

Maybe like we have default weapons for new players, we could have some defaults as you level up.
Mage Example:
Level 1- 15 damage, 3 tech
Level 8- 17 damage, 3 tech, 1 dex
Level 15- 20 damage, 3 tech, 2 dex
Level 20- 23 damage, 5 tech, 2 dex
Level 25- 24 damage, 5 tech, 2 dex, 1 support
Level 30- 26 damage, 5 tech, 3 dex, 1 support

Default guns:
Level 5- 13 damage
Level 12- 15 damage, 2 stats you can place anywhere
Level 18- 22 damage, 3 stats you can place anywhere
Level 25- 25 damage, 5 stats you can place anywhere
Level 30- 29 damage, 6 stats you can place anywhere

Default auxiliaries:
Level 12- 18 damage, 1 stat you can place anywhere
Level 20- 25 damage, 3 stats you can place anywhere
Level 28- 30 damage, 5 stats you can place anywhere
Level 32- 33 damage, 6 stats you can place anywhere

Default armors:
Level 17: +1 def/res
Level 25: +2 def/res, 2 stats you can place anywhere
Level 30: +4 def/res, 4 stats you can place anywhere

These weapons and armors are easily outclassed by any other weapons and armor near their level, also since you can place the stats anywhere you are able to make a decent build. Won't completely fix fights like those, but it will at least give you a shot.

well the worse match up u can get in 2v2 now is vsing 2 lvl 34 varium with a non varium partner lvl 28 and u r non varium lvl 34 i get these matches at least 2 time or maybe more a day. this usually happens when the servers are not that full. the lvl gap between 2v2ers should be reduced to 4 or maybe 3. 6 is kinda too much. yes yes i know if u reduce the gap 2v2 will be slower but balance is way better and all the waiting time is really worth it if u get a well balanced 2v2 match. i m gonna list a few type of players u can meet in 2v2 so her is the list:

Moronsmonkeys with no wep/only armor/only primary/no zooka/no gun/no armor a.k.a parasites of 2v2

No matter how much the devs adjust the lvl gap we will still see these type of moronsmonkeys in 2v2. they are everywhere but u see more of them in 2v2 as 2v2 gives fast credits and u as u know these types of morons monkeys cant win 2v2 or juggernaut alone.they need to make use of their partners in 2v2 to get a win. if they get a partner which is willing to win at all cost they will be jumping for joy after the die in 1 hit they would stay and watch and get free exp and credits that they "earned". They can be named as parasites in 2v2. they do nothing and get free credits and exp. boy ya gotta hate those parasites. usually these parasites make ya lose in 2v2. we cant blame them for being a parasite. the devs could make a filter letting these parasites/moronsmonkeys battle other parasites/moronsmonkeys. this would save us for being stuck with a parasite in 2v2 and it would certainly make 2v2 fun as these parasites wont be there to spoil the fun. parasites vs parasites= no harm done on us non parasitic beings.


random build skill trees people


Well u see these type of people everywhere my first file was one of em XD. wat do u mean by random skill tree? random skill tree= 1 point in almost every skill and no skill maxed. this type of people know wat to do but they are not that good with building builds. i noticed that new players get a tutorial(make a new char and u will see the new tutorial) but the problem here is the new player can click the exit button to exit the tutorial screen. if u just exit the tutorial than what is the point of a tutorial just force every1 who makes a new file to read the whole tutorial. reading tutorial helps but it just helps those who can read and those who bother to read them. the devs need to make a hands on tutorial. a hands on tutorial would reduce the amount of random skill tree players in all modes.

players with full wep set but wrong builds

well often i see a str build merc with guess what mjolnir(yeah wth is the guy thinking). often i wonder y they use the wep in the first place. IMHO weps should tell the recommended builds the players can use with the wep e.g. cadens wrath recommended build: high tech caster mage,mjolnir recommended build:support build,surgical slicers recommended build:dex build. this would certainly help new players make a build. or u can have vent bot recommending a certain wep or a vent bot which helps rate your build for free or cost ya some tokens.

I see my faction mate on the other side i disconnect for the faction

this has been a big issue in 2v2 for a long long time many people do this as they hate vsing faction mate. ving a faction mate in 2v2 mean u waste time and wasting time means lesser win for the faction. u wont have this problem in jug but in 1v1 and 2v2 vsing a faction mate can be a pain at times. the devs should just make a faction filter faction mates can meet in 2v2 but as partners only not vsing each other and in 1v1 u cant meet your faction mates in random 1v1. lots of people fall victim to 2v2 faction dcing i know it is a dirty way to get wins for the faction but vsing a faction mate is a waste of time.
