 @Shyteria: No you won't as stated multiple times for a few reasons. You got the same value out of it since you got a promo item with your 10k package. Yes if you bought another you didn't get the versatility of choosing another, but that was the downside of the old system. The new system effects all purchases from now on wards and not any from before, this is not to make things unfair, but because it is also literally impossible. The keys are connected up to the Varium packages, it's impossible to get keys without getting a Varium package, we can't 'just give them' because they are hard coded to only appear when a Varium package is selected/brought.

 Though having this system retro-active for past players would be something nice for those players, the game will never have the ability to move forward. To continue to compensate for adjustments, the game will remain in idle.

Though the past systems did not have this flexibility, players who did buy those multiple packages within a given game stage used it to their best ability.

This system provides broader incentives for all player levels and budgets.

 Let's all remember -

Keys do NOT relate to AQWorlds

Keys are NON-Items, and are obtained when purchasing a package. Must be used while buying it, and can not be saved.

Therefor, giving players free keys is impossible. They are not items.

Bought a package just to try out the new system and I think its really good. I love how it takes away the punishment of buying 2 10k varium packages during the same promotion time period, so that you can maintain getting bonuses not matter how many you buy, definitely a good update to the way we purchase varium.

I like this new system it looks awesome!! maybe once I get acquainted with ED again I will buy a package which levels up with me :P if that happens...

Though it is very nice to see some customization on the varium packages ED should take a leaf out of the books of other games and lower the price of the packages full stop.

Most people wouldn't mind digging in to spend up to $25 in one hit but to constantly put your hand in your pocket to spend $50 for a decent pack is beyond most people in this current world economic climate.

Don't forget ED that little fish are sweet too.

Yeah, but if they can't lower the price of packages or raise the amount of varium per package then they should lower in game prices. What I don't understand is that varium weapons up to around level 25 are really affordable, usually not past 250 varium. But once you hit like level 30 there is a huge jump in price which is nearly 4 times what a weapon a few levels lower will cost and by then you NEED enhancements raising the price even the further so you are paying around 10x more for 1 weapon than what you did at around lv 25. I would actually lower the prices of all weapons down to 500, and make items like delta knight and bioborg like 750 max and cutting the cost of enhancements.

Personally I like this customization, but I have a question.
During gamma you could get the gamma bot and bike along with another promo at any time, kind of like a double promo. Now with this system will double promos cease to exist?
Been around 3 months any answers?
