In some Juggernaut or 2vs2 Battles, you get Rage and the player you need (by need I mean if you don't kill him, he's going to Rage Berserker you with a STR build...) to kill has 3 HP left. You can easily finish off that player with a Normal Strike no need for the Rage. Except, the Rage would really benefit you to kill the other player. Sadly, right now in ED, you have no use the Rage so that's a Rage wasted...

My idea. When you get Rage and Attack, you choose weather to use that Rage for not. But you can only hold onto the Rage for 3 Turns and while you have a full Rage bar, you cannot gain any more Rage.

What do you guys think?

Brilliant

Hold rage forever? Then what if you just healed and players keep reserving rage right after you healed? Ant not gaining rage anymore will kill you if you're doing small damage to another opponent.

Point is that you can only hold onto Rage for 3 turns and you cannot gain anymore rage WHILE holding onto Rage. The holding on is also optional and you can just use it if you don't want to hold

I agree. But it should be 1 turn. 3 turns is too much, with 1 turn u can save ur rage so it doesnt go to waste. That way it wont be OPed.

1 turn would be enough, I usually have to either Heal, use useless skill or rely on luck and attack with my Primary when I have Rage and it's usually that 1 turn difference. :P
You should post it in Suggestion Boards as well afterwards. :)

Experienced the same dilemma... sounds like a possible solution to me. 1 turn delay should be sufficient.

Supported. This would greatly increase the strategic value of rage.

Realistically, stalling rage does not benefit the player because they will not be able to accumulate rage. I think that the player should be able to stall rage for as long as they wish (it really only harms them), and disperse it when they want with a mouseclick of the rage bar.

@void One word: Cooldowns. Rage doesn't always happen when you have a gun/aux ready. It could also be used to rage on powerful skills like Zerker after it's been used once before in the battle.

This is a good idea, and somehow leads players to thinking strategically of when to use their rage. 1 or 2 turns would be enough though, as 3 could very well make it abused.

@ND,

So, would you be arguing that stalling rage can cause issues if used only for the most powerful weapon? True, saving rage for an attack that deals 30 damage and about 50% armour ignoring definitely has more damage potential than using a attack with 15 damage and 50% armour ignoring.

But when you count turns in terms of damage dealt per turn, saving rage in the end harms the user more than the victim who instead may be using rage as often as possible. This is because, excluding stat nerf or buff skills, the target's Defense/Resistance will be the same number throughout the battle. And because of that, rage ignores the same amount of Defense/Resistance for ALL attacks.

So if this idea was implemented the following would happen
Battle Lvl 34 Blood mage
Get lucky and kill him without rage ( Randy super high critical)
Next Game
Lvl 25 Tech Mage with lets say 70 Hp
Rage and Critical , Bunker Buster Or W/e powerful skill = 75 Damage
Umm....?
