Please post proof then.
Also when defensive aspects or healing capacities of a stat or skill (in that respective order in the case of support) are changed or taken away IT IS STILL A NERF.
A nerf isn't just when damage capabilities are weakened.

khalidon5000, support stat was never nerfed it had too many things that it was never meant to have and making those changes did not make support less effective or change how it improves certain skills.

When I am in 2vs2 and the person next to me has max Plasma Rain with Dex below 106 (30-36), I give them Reflex boost and they get between 40 to 43 damage, you know what they say when I do that, "Thank You" because they know their Plasma Rain will be weak at those low levels, unless they malfunction. Any Player that plays the tech mage or blood mage can confirm this and that is why Plasma Rain is not used that often.

Stop saying that Plasma Rain is weak, prove it.
You can't state something that is unproven without proving that it's true.
If that is your hypothesis prove it with pictures and post it in the bugs statement.

Not long ago I asked for proof of how Plasma Rain is much weaker then Artillery Strike and you asked me to go get proof...

Why should I try to prove a point your trying to make.
If you want it to be fixed then PROVE IT.
The only reason you haven't so far is because the information you are giving is not true.
I think people would have noticed that you need twice as much dex for Plasma Rain to give the same amount of damage as Artillery Strike.

khalidon5000, If you were in 2vs2 matches with me in the past couple of months then you can see the proof live with your very own eyes to see what I have to do to get the damage over 40+.

Fight in more 2vs2 matches with a high support build and get back the forum and letting everyone know if support was affected by those two changes.

First of all I have been playing since Beta and I have been a mercenary with a high support build since.
Support was effected as I could no longer heal alot with level 1 field medic.
I also noticed that I suddenly didn't deflect attacks much at all.
The changes were noticeable and are nerfs so please stop trying to say otherwise and....................

AAAAh once again you try to circumvent the fact that you need to provide PICTURE PROOF.

Your not gonna get it. Hun King is talking and load of bull so he can't provide picture proof. I'm a Mage and my main was once a merc who did use support builds so I have most of its damages memorized from about 80-130 support. And a Mage with about 121 dex does 71 damage with plasma rain at max. I'm pretty sure that's on par with merc artillery strike. I'll provide screenie later if I can find them but I doubt it.

111 dex = 67 Plasma Rain damage at level 10. [PROOF]
111 sup = 69 Artillery Strike damage at level 10. [PROOF]

Also comparing Dex to Support is also stupid:
Dex gives you Defence, higher blocks and damage to skills. Defence = HP; the more you have, the less damage you take.
Support gives you higher chance to crit, lowers chance to stun, and improves skills. Crit = luck and you can deflect it, stun resistance is useful on ONE skill, and Aux damage.
So it's Defence + blocking vs. Aux damage, Stun resistance and random Crits (that can be deflected) - we have the winner here, no?

You're also misinforming players as well, just like Pivotal mentioned. Like that Bunker Buster "bug" which was seeking nerf to Mercenary class. 2 damage difference at 111 Dex/Support is nothing because you get much more useful bonuses than Aux damage which can be deflected as well. And what class gets most out of Support damage wise? Mercenaries with Multi, but that's it. This is NO reason to say Support is balanced if you don't use it or never did. I use Support build since Beta (well atm I'm Dex TM with Plasma Rain which deals 69 damage at 122 Dex), so I know what I'm speaking about when it comes to Support.
Plasma Rain is also NOT weak. Sure it's less useful at high Resistance players but that's obvious. In the same way, you can resist Artillery by getting your Def higher or using a Shield. That 2 damage difference is nothing to argue about when you look what bonuses other stat gives.

PivotalDisorder, That is just showing non in battle potential damage not in battle 2vs2 damage and you just proved my point at 111 dex and 111 support the damage potential is not the same, one is 67 and the other is 69 and last time I checked 67 does not equal 69.

Trans, which one has a bigger chance at Critical damage? In 2vs2 battle do you constantly get exactly 69 damage? In a 2vs2 battle my partner had 121 (33-40 +1) one of the opponents had 54 (20-24 +1) I boosted he couldn't because he was a tech mage without malfunction. I went and got 47 damage, at 80 potential damage, he went and got 37 damage so tell me what is 69 -(20-24 +1) or 80 -(20-24 +1) and tell me if the damage was calculated correctly or incorrectly by the program?

Or perhaps you're wrong? We need proof - screenshots or it didn't happen. We provide you with screenshots to prove our point, if you don't provide us with one then this may as well as not be true.
And I get usually 40 damage on non-crits, +/- that depending on resistance but usually around that. That is fine seeing as it hits both enemies already and many 2v2 players use Multis so that adds up to a nice number. Also please post in Balance Thread, this has nothing to do with Balance and we've been redirected in other thread as well.

Artillery strike often does more damage generally because people who use it have high support which also means it tends to crit more often. Plus your build that you use has 44 support. Of course you get critted often times and plasma rain hits hard already. No need to complain about how weak or silly your calculation is.
