I have both bots, and I prefer using the rusted one since people don't know which robot I have until I use it (or know how much damage it should do). So in my view they are the same (since the rusted bot does less damage). Is this a bad thing? I don't think so. I do a good amount of 2v2, and when I can count on my non-varium partner to de-nerf me, I'm pretty happy about that.

About the whole cost thing, I actually won my assault bot in the arcade when you could do that, so imo it only fair that you can win the rusty bot while playing, even if the drop rate is much higher (the high drop rate has netted me an extra 20k credits anyway). Also if you priced the rusty bot any higher, only those most experienced free players could afford it, and they would just wait for it to drop anyway. So just look on the bright side.

On Juggernaut battles... use the fact that they bot to your advantage. As a cyber (I'll probably get grief for this ) I have lvl 1 or 2 malf and low support, so I don't care if they bot. It still gives me 1 more point of damage per hit, and I just static to get my energy back, so its just a waste of their turn pretty much. So my solution for that is to be creative with your builds.

 the current difference between a non varium gun and a varium gun is like 4 stats and another 3 on enchant. That like 7 maybe 5 if the non varium item is a rare. The difference in the rusted and assault is 14 tech thats 2 damage.
I feel its ok for a non varium to have this bot cause its the only bot they have.

What would really help is to scale the debuff to focus level. Example level 1 focus is 15% debuff level 2 focus 30% debuff.

I actually think that's a good idea, Rui.

But people saying "Oh, non variums need a robot" Sure, they do. But It should not be as good as the varium version.

I support this topic, the only difference between the bots is the Physical/Energy element of them.
I feel like it's far too useful for a credit only item, not damage wise but the effects it has on the player, there's no point in investing points into a skill that lowers an opponents stats if every non-varium player can lower it's effects to 4-8 points.

I think the perfect alternative's to lower it's effect to about 50-60%, it's rusted anyway.

We had this topic a while ago, Varium players are getting 6th Bot now while non-Variums have same old one. It's not like this Bot is any OP, Rusted that is, if you count the fact non Variums have one Bot, rarely enhancements unless Credit and just a few, which adds up to lower damage output as well as defence.

Exactly, the people who are complaining will just have to live with being a lot stronger than these non variums instead of absolutely dominating them.
