So a little background here, I havent been playing this game for almost a year now but I decided to come back to see what has happened since, obviously a lot has changed and I am way, WAY behind on equipment and weapons, etc (I am still using founders armour+ full beta gear) and since I was losing virtually every match because I have no idea how to build and my weapons are far behind I decided to buy something. I still had 1000 varium since I last played and without thinking, I bought Krakens Reaper. Now im stuck with no varium, no credits, a terrible build and a rubbish item (I mean really, of all items I could buy I bought that?)
SO basically I was wondering if the epicduel admins are nice enough to let me off this once and return my credits and varium so that I can buy something better for myself and I can enjoy this game like I used to :)

 Simple answer is no. You bought this from your own will, so it's your fault you bought it. They also don't do refunds or anything, even if you get hacked. Sorry.
You can always sell them for 1/2 Credits and some Varium, that's all.

Seriously? They used to give out refunds to people all the time :/

To add on to what Trans said the sellback for varium is at 15%.

Well, can I atleast get a build guide then :/
Im level 30, almost level 31
I have no credits and no varium so I cant buy anything
Im a tech mage but when I hit 50k credits (Will be in about a year, if I havent quit by then) I'll become a blood mage
So yeah here are my items:
Beta blaster
Beta staff
Founders armour
Beta sword
Founders Bike
Nano Staff
Imperial ACP
Krakens Reaper

Definitely need help on which stats to pick and what levels to put my abilities on :/

With this equipment you can go anywhere. Simply put, you can pretty much gain credits easily. I don't understand your griping. Other players dont have armor like you do.....

 You have Armor that is powerful still at Lvl 30, hell I used my Founder until Lvl 32! You have the Nano Staff, or play with Betas. They got a buff and are still strong, will allow you to compete. Stop being greedy, refunds were never given out to everyone with exceptions of being hacked.

k I will keep getting owned everygame with my outdated weapons, old armour and useless weapon which I spent all my freaking varium on

 Lvl 33 Tesla Armor vs Lvl 25 Founder Armor
+9 Res & +16 Stats vs. +7 Res and +17 Stats

Yes really outdated. 8 Levels difference, no encumbrance effect (if you had Tesla, you'd get +6 Res). Seriously outdated?

Beta Weapons got update, they have power similar to Lvl 30 weapons now with no requirements. Don't say you keep getting owned as you won't even show us charpage or give us your build. Get a better one, and you can get a good build with Betas + Founder; abusing. Which get's you a LOT of wins if done properly.

 littleblaze the beta items and founders are not weak. They are hands down the best items to use if you know what you are doing.
Try doing a retraining and go max tech and like 95 health and 75energy. Only fight in 2 on 2. Watch and learn now other mages fight. 1 on 1 is instant death if your items are not fully enchanted.
All you need is 25 fights in 2on2 and you should be fine trying to figure a build that works. If you win 6 out of 10 games you doing great.

there is my character page, my friend told me a new build and it goes like this:

110 health
72 energy
19 strength
80 dexterity
34 technology
17 support

31-38 defense
22-27 resistance

Skills:
1-1-1
1-1-10
1-5-10
1-0-0

Basically what happens everytime is I hit them with stun, follow up with multi but then there's nothing else to do, no strength to use normal strike/gun/bludgeon and no support to use aux. Also if I'm again an enemy with super high resistances I'm screwed. I don't really see the point in having malfunction in this build since I never use it :/

either way, you can't get refunds for the purchase of items, never spend varium until you have checked out the wiki to be sure its the right item for you.
it hurts but it happens to the best of us.

What? I 2 varium packages in total and all the varium has gone to waste for weapons that simply aren't effective anymore, this one unlike the others I was mislead into buying it and thats why im asking for a refund

Read that. If it doesn't apply to you, you're not getting any kind of refund. Especially if you yourself have bought an item by mistake, if that was the case then I'd report my character already for "mistakes" so I get Varium back from old items I've bought by "accident". <.< <.> >.>

@LittleBlazey: that 1k varium you had left was a free gift though, even if I did get the wrong end of the stick.

on the refund, just think about it for a minute. if they refund you because your items are no longer useful, then everyone will want refunds
for items that are no longer useful, some players will get hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of varium back, then in a year they
can ask for another refund because those items they bought with the previous refund are no longer useful. you see the problem here?

Beta weapons and founder armor are the best in game statwise bro. 40 enhancement slots with founder armor, and absolutely no requirements. I have the very best you can get right now and still only manage 38 enhancement slots, and lots of requirements. I would trade my gear for yours any day of the weak. So why the complaining?

You have Betas and Founder yet you think you deserve a refund??
I would pay Maaaaaad bucks to get my hands on the Betas

If you need Credits, you could always NPC farm till you have the credits to retrain ...

Is that just how the game goes?

To have fun you have to be able to beat people yet have a challenge, or atleast be a close game
To win games you have to have the best items
The best items always cost varium, so whoever has the most varium wins
About 2 weeks after, a new set of weapons come out, even better than the last bunch.
In order to have fun and have a good game you have to buy them, otherwise you're behind.

Anyone else think this is just dumb?

 Best items? I keep using ones from over half a year ago yet can win, and there were many better weapons beating some of mine. Strategy counts, not only items. +1 damage more or mere 1-2 stats will make such a big difference? No.

This is common logic of players, new item is a must to buy to win. No it's not. They waste Varium and yet moan how expensive it is. No one is forcing you to keep buying it nor to get new item every week for +1 damage more and 1-2 stats, they don't make a major difference. Like heck even minor probably!

I absoulutely support this thread, all I got are delta weapons, frost weapons, bionic battlegear, 4 guns 4 armors 2 eggzookas and 4 bots. If only I did not buy the dam yeti bot. I need a refund too. How else am I supposed to win?

I honestly don't understand what's so great about having founders+beta gear.

First I tried going full technology (Ofc I got some dexterity, health and energy too, I'm not THAT dumb) and ended up failing - use plasma bolt, get owned.
Next I tried going full dexterity - Used overload then plasma rain to deal loads of damage but then after that, useless again. All normal strikes deal 3 damage, gun deals about 10 damage and aux deals around 5 damage. Basically a 1 trick pony with 2 spells and then out of the game. Also if I'm against a cyber hunter with + 11 passive res, +9 res armour and 27-33 normal res then what can I do? all physical moves do no damage and my spells do 10 damage each
I'm going to try full strength but I dont see what that could do since it would just mean I have low defenses and resistances and I would still get owned by anybody with high resistance/defense

I just dont understand the hype about beta weapons when they are so useless

And if you try build for minutes, sure it'll suck. Builds aren't toys that are easy to understand and get most fun out of them, some take time to perfect. Tech is good for 1v1, Dex is great for 2v2 and Jugg (I am using it myself), don't expect build to always win. You get no requirements and all it takes is brain to distribute stats properly. Of course, if you know how to use it wisely with ED.
