This is an idea I thought of a while ago.

OK.

Bike Races!

Each bike is assigned a set of statistics, i.e. Speed, Acceleration, and Agility.

EX.

Hypersled:

Speed: 7
Acceleration: 5
Agility: 4

Bionic Bear Bike:

Speed: 6
Acceleration: 8
Agility: 5

There is also a racetrack, where you can race vs. other bikers. Winner gets 500 Credits, loser 200.

It costs 250 Credits to enter.

How does it work?

To accelerate and go, press the "Forward" key on your keyboard. Once you reach a certain speed, you can then enter the course.

Once you enter the course, you can press the "Left" and "Right" keys on the keyboard to evade obstacles.

Does this seem like a good idea? If so/not, why?

^ I like the idea. It will give bikes a purpose besides just making you look cool. However, I think that you should be able to steer by using the mouse to click on the screen, and accelerate by double clicking. This way, if you play ED on a iPad or something like that you can still do the races.

Edit - Actually, you should be able to pick which control method you use, because the arrow keys would be a lot easier on a computer.
Edit2 - Why isn't it showing that I edited my post?
Edit3 - Its showing it now....

What if these competitions involve Flash Player lag? I myself have an alright speed, but others may not. Would this not be detrimental to some people in terms of loading graphics and mouse clicks?

^ Setting graphics to low usually solves those problems, maybe an extra low could be added also for people who don't really care about visuals with low-speed internet/flash.

Support Gives Bike's Another Use :)
There Could Also Be An Option To Upgrade Your Bike's Speed Accelaration And Agility
And There Should Be A Chance To Get An Item If You Win

Bikes are pathetic i think they take up too much room and a waste of money do they help u win battles? No!...
But houses are different i go to my house for a bit of peace and privacy but the house items are so much money.....

Well if it was made aqw style it would get less lag, i like the idea, but i think that something should be made to give every bike an equal chance probably like boosts and damage infliction whereas taken damage slows u down, and can eventually burn up your engine ( lose the race)

Most of EpicDuel's process is in the battles... PVP. Sure, real-time advancements would be appreciated, but that is a large project for what, 2 coders, and PVP itself needs one or two overdue updates.
