I know about these Terran things you say. The customs and deities, if anything, are based on this world's customs. In fact, nearly everything in the actual games has happened in Earth's history, or a related event, at one point. An example of this would be, from AQW, how nearly everything on Yokai Island is based on customs from Terran Japan.

For monsters, if you're referring to the presence of the orca, if AQ can have a monster called a WhaleZard, is it farfetched to say that the creature that gave it it's name doesn't also exist in Lore?
