I think this would be a great new feature for the game. Just like we get a tax refund in febuary every year, it would be cool if we can get a refund on the creds and varium every year.

You know this causes inflation right? That means items will cost more than they do now as well as enhancements and whatever is there and battles could just drop less Credits? What would you base the economy on? Is there one on Delta V?
