Chapter One A child wandered through the dark streets of Darkovia. His older brother, Damian, had just achieved Rogue Rank ten, and had decided to celebrate with a party at the local inn, the Growling Wolf. Not wanting to be left out, the child was now going to his brother's party, despite his mother's warnings. His mother had warned him, every night before he went to bed, to never travel darkovia at night. Of course niether of her children ever listened. After all, it was always night in Darkovia! But as the boy wandered the streets, he started to remember his mothers cautions. Maybe he should have stayed home with his little sister that evening... The boy shook of his doubts. Nothing bad happened in darkovia, Right? And with no class rank 3, he thought he could fend of most monsters. Sadly, he didn't know how wrong he was. After a few more minutes of silent walking, He saw lights coming from The Growling Wolf. But the lights were to bright. And the little boy saw smoke. As he sprinted towards the inn, he began to see the perpetrators of the crime. There were many Void and chaos elementals smashing the inn. And above them all, one tall, powerrfull man. Although the boy had never seen him before, anyone who saw Drakath would recognize him instantly. He doubted that Drakath had let anyone out of the inn alive. Filled with rage, the small boy charged at Drakath. Of course he was cut down instantly by one of Drakath's spells. The last thing The Boy saw as he faded into the darkness was this: "AHAHAHA! Feel the Chaos on your flesh! well, I'd really love to stay and play with this pathetic town, But I have a date at Swordhaven. I'm DYING to meet some old friends! Ta-Ta for now!" In life, The Boy's name had been Milton. As with all desposed adventurers, Milton found himself sitting in a quiet room with death, watching ads. "cheer up, old pall," death wispered in his low voice, " after ten seconds or so you can leave, and revive back at home. Darkovia, Right?" Milton shook his head and smiled grimly. He was not going to go back to dreary old Lore for some time now, and he had a plan to make sure that happened. So without saying a word, Milton grabbed the TV and threw it at death. While death was still preocupied, Milton grabbeb Death's scythe and without further ado, cut Death in half, killing hm instantly. Of course Death would respawn in ten seconds, but meanwhle Milton had a plan. All he needed was a drop of Nytheria's coffee, a small sword, and Cysero's left sock, witch he quickly obtained(he used the map). Then he mixed them in Styr, Bubble's old cauldron. Finally, he jumped in. When he came out, he was taller, stronger, and much more powerful. The CC orbs in the sword came of. They became his blood orbs, Arcane orbs, etc. He brought his brother to him. However, Damian wanted a new, more powerfull name. He decided to be called Oblivion. The sword came to be known as the Sword of Miltonius. And to his delighted suprise, Milton realized that he had a new name; Miltonius, Spawn of Nulgath. Of course he would aquire many names before his run was over. Traitor, Master, conquerer, Overlord, Moderator, Artist, Demon, Warrior, Negotiator, "Ruler of The Dark Makai Oh Hear His Name and Tremble Like A Moglin On A Football Feild!"( he liked that one.), and, eventually, General NULGATH. But still, Milton had bigger plans. He wanted another name, one that everyone would use. He wanted to be called Conquerer of Lore, But that would come later. for now, he had a job to do. And with speed that only a coder for an indie video game can use, he began. First, he set up a secret room in the Citadel caves. To guard it, he summoned a shadow of himself to "guide" adventurers away. Then he set about creating an army. He recruited Polish, Crag, Bamboozle, Skew, Taro the Manslayer and Swindle Bilk. He formed an uneasy alliance with the twins. He turned his blade into a weapon, and then mass-produced it. He summoned a shadow demon, witch he named a Dark Makai. Then he used the Beast Master's pathetic Cloning machines to create a legion. He signed Contracts with Players, who soon became his slaves. And he taught a successor. They seemed to just be a player at first, but they were crafty and traitorous on the inside. Their name was Dage the Evil. Let's just say things didn't work out, and save the rest for another chapter. Overall, Miltonius was pleased with his work. But then Artix came along. Artix, who happened to be miltonious' boss. And Artix told the WHOLE GAME about Miltonious' hideout. Soon the players came. The whiny, weak players who killed his Makai and attempted to kill him or steal his blade. In compensation, Artix gave Miltonious a new name. Nulgath. But the abyss general was still unsatisfied. And when he learned that his old protege Dage was going to wage war on him next summer, that was the last straw. Nulgath joined Ebil Games. He even crwated a new dimension, with him as it's ruler! But things went wrong. on one of his raids for souls, a soul escaped. soon, it will rise against him. It. Is. OVERSOUL! Chapter Two Of course even a multi-dimesional conquerer can get restless sometimes. He had conquered towns, threatened empires, and designed his own game in a few months in Oversoul, but he couldn't help but want to return to the universe of Lore. After all, hadn't Dage said something about a war last time he had heard from the necromancer? Maybe a war would amuse him for a few days. So Nulgath came back to AQW, ready to wreak havock on the players and monsters alike. But after his short leave, many things had changed( after all, there are weekly releases!). Nulgath had Oblivion breif him on the newest chaos zones and news events, so he wouldn't be caught unawares. Dage had created a being called an Undead Titan, witch rivaled even the best of his Void fiends. He had also gained quite a bit of player support. Son Nulgath decided it was time for an upgrade! First, Nulgath used void magic to evolve from a measly spawn like miltonious into an abyss general. He got a new blade and renamed all his items. He had all his vendors secretly prepare for battle. And then he hired Klunk. He had first found Klunk in the Oversoul universe, terrorizing a town. He had hired Klunk for 5 gold a year, and Klunk had become admiral of the Abyss army. When Nulgath felt that all had been finalized, he released a loyalty shop. Thousands of players raced to his shop, and all the proceeds went to raising an evil army. However, Nulgath learned some unsettling news. Dage had come to Battleon earlyer that month selling his own loyalty shop. In the years since they had parted, had Dage really grown so powerfull? Many players seemed to think so. But Nulgath shook off his doubious thoughts. He was on a mission, and that mission was to beat Dage and take over the underworld so that he would control all souls and make himself the leader of the alternate dimension known as Oversoul. There was just one problem. After months of preperation for war, weeks of training and strategy, and decades of battle, the great abyss general had nothing to do but wait for the battle. He realized that he was feeling boredom for the first time in centuies. Was this how Dage the Evil was to be remembered? As the most boring enemy Nulgath had ever faced? And then Nulgath dreamed. I have now written an origins about Dage, to even the playing feild. Read it. Please. I will continue archiving the actions of both Dage and Nulgath to the best of my abilities.
