I really hope the staff keep silly mecha away from the SCMMs. SCMMs were never really ment to be silly.

I like the whole new acronym for SCMM - it works. And is slightly funny. Keyword being slightly. ._.

As for the art style, I would like a graceful-looking and fast mech, if such a thing is possible. Like, really sleek and was built for moving around a lot. I was always a fan of speedy things. ;D

I wold like a milatory themed mecha, as there arnt many of those. and maybe some organic mechas, like pulsing gooey acid spitting ones. as im sure that they would be fun to play with. i like that idea, because i am a fan of starcraft, which has gross aliens in it and they look epic.

Firstly, I'm in full support of a Megas XLR mech for april fools. Make it like the dragon spirit, unequipable with six outlandish uber attacks but one must be fires a rocket up, and a giant satalite falls on the enemy, like in the first episode.

Now back on topic, I was thinking what if we had a dragonoid mech. Not like the Dragonguard, I mean our own mini dragonoids, that are color customizable. Wings for the 2 shoulders, 2 arms, body and head. Can even make them look a bit more mechish, with more armor sticking off them, gun turrets and such. I mean, everyone in MQ would have been trying to scan and analyze the two we know of, and while they can't make planet sized super weapons, a normal mech unit should be possible. That and I personally wanna piolet a robotic dragon to blow stuff up.

Unequippables are also vastly underpowered...there's just...not much use for them.

Plus, discouraging customization is a pretty bad idea.

1. All this hate going around, were is the love?!

2. @Glais
ALL unequipables are under powered? what about the new tank that Minar did a gorgeous job on? (I know its customizable but its way stronger with all defaults and may as well be unequipable)

3. Mabye you guys should look at unequipables as a way to challenge you to strategize with what you already have.

IMO most unequippables are currently viable; it's just that their potential is too limited. :P
There's nothing to build off of because you can't build anything on.
They're useful, certainly. Powerful, occasionally. Just limited in what they can do as soon as they're made.

Also, don't call a mecha unequippable @Gamemastersan if it clearly isn't unequippable :I

That's...not unequippable though. It's like the Liberty, bonuses for keeping defaults.

It's moreso unequippables are severely limited, Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris are decent Mechs, but there's just not a whole lot you can do with em.

Unequippables can be fun. But their only use is the fact that the one I own has low CD and is good when it gives you another mech for that quest. Trog was awesome in the GG since you could spam the shoulder and win at a decent rate. Now the liberty is, since you can also use the head and body while still being able to spam the shoulders/arms. However, Unequippables like the Trog, and things which are useless when customized like the liberty, are still useless besides that imo.

What about a mecha who has special animations with all defaults equiped (each weapon makes the mech transform in different modes)

As for the name, looks to me like SCEM is the winner! I did get a little confused in my count where people maybe liked SCMM but with a different word for the "M" than "Mercurial" // liked SCEM but with a different word for the "E" than "Exclusive, but I still see more saying yea for SCEM.

Agreed. In fact, I'm still calling it SCMM personally, just because we've been calling it that for years, so it's stuck in my head. Plus...aren't most SC Mechs SC Exclusive anyways?

That aside, really want GGs to happen soon. Give me something to do on MQ than just fight random things.

I am starting to play DF more often now. MQ is boring on weekdays minus friday. Dont know why i never gave DF a chance. i just wanted the amulet so i can get that sweet looking riptide loyalis

You know something MQ should have done a long time ago? Nanites (tiny little gnat-like robots). there completly relevant to the game yet have never been used. It could open up possibilities for new specials too. Yeah that would make an awesome weapon for an SCMM

Anyway,I suggested this before,but how about something that's like in Break Blade?
Release the mech,then maybe release a couple of equipment for it on a later date to give it a little customization at least.
