Anyway, the levels where TM's have the lead because of their higher dmg weapons are 1-5, I am NOT talking about anything above that

@sky222 have you clicked the link to my character page? my record on my main is around 80%. Doesn't sound too bad to me. :D On my alt like I said before, my 1v1 record is bad because I did 1v1 till level 6 or 7. My 2v2 record is good though. 155 wins and 80 losses. It isn't lack of skill that was making me lose. It was bunker busting hybrid armor mercs and smokescreen and bloodlust bounty hunters that caused my losing. I was using max plasma bolt build like pretty much every mage does starting out.

^mages have this skill called defense matrix.

Try it. Its not exactly a secret skill, in fact, its the first skill of a mage. Free tip no need to thank me.

I actually did 1v1 up until level 10. I only had a few losses though. Bloodlust is amazing at the lower levels. And with a decent mix of stats, I somehow I won (I wonder how I did this well, considering that at that point in time, I had no idea how to play). I even took a look at my level 25 build and I'm shocked at how I managed to do decently. There are so many things wrong with the build.

Helloguy, read entry in Wiki about Support. It raises your chances not gives you 100% chance. Probability exists here or what you call luck, it's the same thing. You have higher chances but not 100%. Flip a coin and you won't always get the side you want, and neither you will all the time because chances in a row decrease for that + in ED case, it's variable due to Support.

Umm... you do realize that by wasting a turn to use DM, you are giving your opponent a potential free turn and increased rage gain.

You also lose energy.

Bunker mercs can EASILY hold out till your DM wear's off then BANG! Rage crit to tha face.

OK, gonna throw my 2 cents in. RE-Class Balance-

Blood Mage= Fine. Maybe give them Assimilation, so they can have energy steal like every1 else, but other than that, they're ok.

Tactical Merc= Weakest evolved class right now IMO (but yes, just a little). Only class without a debuff. Give them back smoke screen, since its the only debuff only applicable by 1 class.

Cyber Hunter= Still a bit overpowered, even after that last nerf(im a Cyber right now, i know), easy answer, EITHER drop Plasma Armor and replace with Technician(only mages have that right now), OR just take away Shadow Arts. Nothing wrong with CH's offense, they're just a little too tanky, with too much passive defense.

Mercenaries and Tech Mages? Both fine, dont change a thing.

Bounty Hunters are kinda hard to judge right now, as they seem to be getting played least of any class, at least by high level, varium using folks. I'm sure they need a buff of some kind, just hard to tell what would get more people interested in it.

Now thats out of the way, on to other things. I've seen alot of people on here the last few days complain about energy steals. I dont like getting my energy stolen either, but its a good defensive skill, nothing wrong with it. All you need is a Plan B in case your energy gets stolen(like that new bot.....), I've won plenty of times after getting my energy stolen, remember, a turn spent on EMP or Atom is a turn spent NOT attacking.

Speaking of that new bot, yes, its OP, BUT ONLY A LITTLE BIT. My answer would be just don't have the damage start going up until after 4th or 5th turn. Honestly, who liked the 20 minute long tank fights we used to get before the war(other than tanks )? Or, just make the thing blockable like the rest of the bots?

@ansh0 My point exactly. I tried using defense matrix at first. all it changed is that they waited till rage to use bunker buster. I would really like to see these people claiming to have a high win percentage in 1v1 from 1-10 as a techmage make a video of it. Start a new character, record it, and post the link. If I see a video like this, I will admit defeat and publicly announce that I was wrong and have no skill. Sound fair?

Scarletreaper, as a mage depending on the energy that they do have, you can use assimilate on them to sap their energy. I don't know how many times mages have done this to me to stop me from using my bunker or surgical strike. (lucky for me I had other ways of fighting.)

haven't really tried assimilate at low levels as I usually go for high damage. Maybe I'll give that a try.

All classes could have at least one attack skill and one defence skill that integrates with Strength, Dexterity, Technology, and Support (or for defensive skills... one skill that integrates with Defense and one for Resistance). Passive skills and neutral skills such as Bloodlust or Atom Smasher would differentiate between the classes. Bounty Hunters are limited to the following attack skills: Cheap Shot, Smokescreen (unfortunately uses Strike), Multi-Shot, Stun Grenade, Massacre, and Venom Strike. All of these skills that use the Primary weapon indirectly improve with Strength in a minor or major way, 1 skill improves by Technology, and 2 skills improve by Dexterity. None of these attack skills improve by Support. A Support-type Bounty Hunter lacks an "auxiliary" source of damage from energy, and therefore is limited to the defensive skills of Support. This may not be recommended since the options for damage output are thus limited, and this places a disadvantage when fighting other classes of the Support-type, creating a handicap ranking.

I recommend to either implement these options or... the more direct yet extreme approach... remove the state known as "stats that improve skills" to separate the 2 statistical bodies and increase the stability of PVP balance (since changing a skill does not alter a stat, and vice-versa... that is my reasoning anyhow).

This is great to see that Rabblefroth and Titan have an amount of time to regard balance again.

Gamma bot should get another +1 damage

Increase Base chance on Stun grenade and Plasma Grenade to 35%. Lower the energy by 2.

Bludent energy will increase to 12 at level 1 and start at 25% more damage at level 1 and go up by 3% per level.


Repace Deadly aim to Aux aim so it won't stack to ur str. Aux improve with supp and 3 turns cooldown

Reasons why TLM needs smoke but should lose another move....


CH and TLM both have an armor special that gives them either resistence or defence up to +10 stat points. Chs have Malf and Tlm had smoke. Both CH And TLM can make str build but CH can make block/deflection builds also.

TLM is an underused class and CH is one of the most used class in the game. CH have a better chance in winning most battles than any other class. Sence TLM does not have smoke anymore They can get blocked SOOOO easly and easly get pwnd buy other classes due to blocks and delfects. If TLM got smoke 1v1 and 2v2 would be more easier for TLM to win battles.


After 35 was realeased TLM can get pwnd easly buy TM/CH with malf and infernal bot. If TLM had smoke it would be faster to kill them and less chance to get blocked.


Tlm IS the weakest class in the game. If they lost either Double strike, frenzy or Feild Commander (commander should be taken out for sure) TLM woulnt be so over powerd that many people think. it would just be a Defence version of a CH.


Im a TLM and i love to jug but i lose alot with out smoke and i belive it should be back in the game for ATLEAST a month for a test to see how well it does.

Tlm Isnt Weak, Its Very Powerfull, If u want to lose a skill for smoke, what do you think about lossing reroute?

Rayman you know for a fact very few if any TLM merc wouldn't want to lose reroute. They would sooner give up any other move before giving that one up. especially since CH has a move to get energy back while TLM wouldn't if they gave up reroute to get smoke back.

Oh and they should make Gamma's energy attack delectable now since they can't actually do it instead of blockable along with that. That is right the only reason it wasn't deflectable back in gamma was because they could do it back then people Rabble said so in the bot balance thread.

Gamma energy attack Is Fine, it has 2 DMGing skills, both with same power, why would they make the special weaker than the normal?
What gamma's need is a 1 Dmg Buff.

Okaayy , moving on ....

Infernal Android is still pretty OPed right now . Now the reason is that 5 Focus builds are all-around users , from having more choices on attacks to strong shielding then they can switch to any tactic with an ease . It seems fine , but it does need a buff , and that's putting back the +Damage per Focus in the game . Now i'm not trying to make things even worse , but the bot is making it seemed OPed , and so does Tank builds .

So , make it +2 Damage per use , not per turn instead .
