What do you think?

I think that classes with Bloodlust do not need Field Medic, since choosing not to attack to use Field Medic does not activate health draining therefore lower health return from Bloodlust... not to mention important energy for use with Massacre or Smokescreen being spent. For Bloodlust classes I see it as redundant, even if Field Medic helps, because if these classes are being hit so hard early on to use Field Medic there must be a power imbalance since Bloodlust is easily reliable.

Yes. To ensure that there is variety(if it still exists) in those classes. If not every1 will go for high damage builds or tank builds.

Good point, why do we need Field Medic? More skill tree variety.

However, there is never the need to have 1 skill out of the skill tree for all times, but there is the need to deal damage (otherwise you can not win). That is why Bloodlust overrides the need to heal; if tanks are very problematic for Bloodlust classes, 2 suggestions could be to improve Bloodlust or rage for Bounty Hunters and Blood Mages.

No, not every class needs FM; a viable way to balance out extremely OP classes would be to take away their heal (such as when TLM was king).

If Blood Lust were to be improved, then BH and BM wouldn't need Field Medic. However, we need it for now. Although, as a Bounty Hunter, I rarely use it because I always have a Health Booster equipped, it still comes in handy at times.

Me, as a BH, healing is rarely an option when fighting 1 vs 1.
Healing is much worse than recovering a small amount of HP from Bloodlust, dealing damage at the same time, while not using any energy.
One less turn you need to defeat the opponent, one less turn you take a hit.

Only because some builds don't need FM doesn't mean whole class doesn't.. If your suggestion is to take it out then it won't happen because Heal is useful for every class, you just have to use it wisely not with Str-spamming and expect high Heal to last you for longer than Tank build. Besides Rabble is working out way to make it not OP but give Support scaling back to it so even further no to removing it.

So BL cancels out Heal.. Right. May I have Energy heal removed because I have Reroute?

in 2v2 hell ya every class needs field medic in 2v2. but in 1v1 idk rarely see any1 heal in 1v1 excluding tank tlm,ch,merc and mages which abuse high heal+infernal bot special. but still imho heal is needed for all classes as without it your basically dead in 2v2.

Despite being a bounty hunter, my build revolves around somewhat decent tanking ability, a max emp, and a level 8 heal, I don't really rely on bloodlust since aside from the robot, I don't deal to horribly much damage. My tactic revolves mostly around crippling my opponent by reducing their ability to use skills, and keeping me and my partner alive; kinda a supporting role so to speak. If FM was taken away, my build would be nothing...

Dep. Void I see you're still making these threads?

And yes...definitely.

If you can't beat someone, think again and try.

Field Medic is a resreve to fall back on. Without it, Luck would be a predominant factor in this game.

FM's removal limits Build choices.

It's just like a different game: Forza 4. There are "LB" (OP) stuff, and then non-OP stuff that litter the rest of the leaderboards. Through removing the second or third "LB" thing, the "LB" thing would be more predominant because it has no enemies. In ED, without FM, STR builds would win through sheer damage.
