Update: The DragonBlade weapons now work with the [weapon] Master miscs.

The Blade, Bow, Staff, Sceptre, Blast, and Partisan now work the same way as the permanent DragonBlade, what with the poison and whatnot.

Err, except that it element-seeks between Harm and [default element] against drakel/dragonkin.

As before, it scales to [Your Level] when triggered and to [Your Level]-5 when untriggered.

The biggest change is to the Dragon Sceptre. Instead of being (basically) a clone of the Dragon Staff, it's now a 100% proc Magic weapon. It has the same stats as the Dragon Bow, but it has +6 BTH and deals *85/91 damage.

Got this thanks! - Dragoon23

The poison power of the Dragon Blade/Partisan/Staff etc. is now 2, and its duration is 1 round.

It's been a month since stats were posted for Luminous Blade/Bow 150G, and almost a month since there was an AK response. Perhaps the entries can be completed and posted?

BlackAces said Dev is doing something with them so I'm waiting on stats - Dragoon23

The new Zombie Nightmare Blade's special drains MP like the original. The special is two hits of Magic Ice instead of one Ice and one Darkness.

Got the drain MP special. However it did darkness/ice for me, regardless of my MP. - Dragoon23

Zombie Nightmare Blade

Magic Darkness temp weapon, dropped by the Zombie Nightmare Queen.

If you have enough MP, then the attack is treated as a normal player attack. It deals 200% of the listed Base/Rand damage "bow" damage, and 75% of the listed Stats "bow" damage. Stat bonus to damage is INT/4 (+LUK/2 on a Lucky Strike); stat bonus to BTH is INT/16+DEX/16+LUK/20. If both hits connect, then the monster makes a save with a +14 bonus:
    Level: PowLvl vs MonsterLvl
    Major: YourINT vs MonsterCHA
    Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK
If it fails, the monster falls Asleep (same save as the one just made).

If you don't have enough MP, then it's just a standard Special.

Either way, the Special is two hits, Magic Darkness and Magic Ice. It deals *1.1 damage because of the elements.

Arctic Tempest Series are not in the "element/seeking/shifting" part of the Magic weapons guide, except for Cool Breeze Level 12

Since they don't element seek or shift elements randomly (like Guardian Blade) they shouldn't be there. So I've removed Cool Breeze from there. Cool Breeze however was missing from the Ice and Wind elements sections so I've added it there. Thanks - Dragoon23

Frigid Fang G has a 4-hit special. Seems pretty accurate and powerful. I think the special happens around 10-20% of the time.

While already tagged rare in the pedia entry Harvest Reaver is still in the LTS, if i recall wasn't it meant to leave after the Harvest Festival went rare?

So, I fixed that bug with the Shadowstuff Pyracepter! Last week actually - it just took until today for me to roll the changes. Busy Frostval is busy. >.<

On all forms:
  • Your attacks deal *1.09 damage due to the lack of a Special.
  • If you are not the correct sub-race, then you deal 85% damage. Also, you don't get the "trigger" effect (neither the "against $type monsters" nor the "against everything else" part) (but you still get the BTH-changing effects).

Human Sceptre: Fire sceptre. Your attacks gain +5 BTH and deal *85/90 damage.
##Trigger: Against vampires and lycans, you deal 110% damage and element-seek (Fire/Light only).

Lycan Claw: Light dagger (it's a punching dagger; shut up).
##Trigger: Against vampires, you deal 110% damage. Against anything else, you deal 102.5% damage.

    Vampire Blade: Fire sword.
##Trigger: Against lycans, you deal 110% damage. Against anything else, you deal 102.5% damage.

Werepyre Axe: Light axe. Your attack deal *85/80 damage and take -5 BTH.
##Trigger: Against vampires and lycans, you deal 110% damage and element-seek (Fire/Light only).

    Can you clarify the downtriggers?

IMR says "you don't get the 'trigger' effect (neither the uptrigger nor the downtrigger)" if you're the incorrect subrace, but he doesn't go into specifics.

I rewrote it as (neither the "against $type monsters" nor the "against everything else" part). Hopefully that is clearer. ~IMR

If you're not in the correct subrace for each form, for e.g. Human for Human Sceptre, if you're using forms other than this, you'll only deal 90% damage, otherwise, no downtrigger. The 102.5% stacks with 109% for being no special, i.e. 102.5%*109%=111.725%.

Edit: @above: For each form, IMR already stated what the effects are if you're in the respective subrace, which is no downtrigger at all. Forms that are not compatible with your subrace are just dealing 90% damage and not gaining any trigger effect. I would think he meant the downtrigger to be no trigger.

Just a question... on my character, it says that he is a "Human Dracopyre" so is he only categorized as a dracopyre and not human or both? I'd post it on Q&A but it seemed best if everyone were to see it

edit: ok thanks Afterlifex! Though so but wanted to confirm

Human is your race, that doesn't change.

Dracopyre is your subrace which is what the weapon uses. A lack of a subrace("none"(see my page)) would make you human in the eye of the weapon and other sub-race triggers..

Thanks for Tha Killa for the new location. Just might wanted to share this since it only "links" to the BURP war.
Weapon locations, if belonging to a quest, will only have the quest location stated. Once the quest is released we'll link the weapon entry to the quest (which has the location of how you can access it). ~whacky

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but the trigger doesn't seem to be working for me. My char had no subrace & is using the Human Sceptre, yet it only does fire damage when fighting vampires in the Darkovia Battlegrounds quest/war - it isn't element-seeking between light & fire.

Tsk. Yeah, bones996, that's a bug. Log out/in to get it fixed.

While I was there, I increased the "wrong subrace" penalty to 85%. Because seriously, don't use this weapon in the wrong form.

Splitrend Lance series are missing from the Ranged Weapon list under Earth.
